If you like people, this is the spot for you! There's a whole myriad of them scattered all over…read morethe place. All ages, all sizes! If you want to have no parking, yep, come on down. This is THEE hub. Because of the egregious amount of people, expect to park far as hell from the complex. Even better, use your phone flashlight to illuminate your walkway because there only a few street lamps. Perhaps this is why, even in the crosswalk, you too can have an invigorating rush as your life flashes before your eyes in the stark headlights of a metro bus who never heard of a brake! Finally, enjoy the amenities in the aquatic center two informational desks down in a basement where lockers require $1.00 in coins. Quarters to be exact! Because why not! You've paid for a membership and/or a class, why not pay for the nostalgia of loose change! Who needs the year 2026?! Extroverts, this is the spot. Introverts, you will feel overwhelmed and wonder what fresh hell did you step in, probably try to power through until the pesky locker thwarts all defenses. You'll throw your hands up and peace tf out and say to yourself, yep I shall stick to the aquatic centers only. More manageable.

The fitness center is suitable for all levels. Equipment is well taken care of and has a great variety of equipment. There's two levels of workout space. The top floor has a walking track and many cardio machines. There's cubbies to store your things, if not, locker rooms are available as well. If you're shy like me, you'll enjoy this facility. Even on the weekends it wasn't too busy. Also there's plenty of space to workout with no one near you. The pool is nice! Great for children, it has a slide and waterfall. The hot tub is warm and clean. -Day pass is $5. Memberships are $20. -There's a cafe on the main floor. -Plenty of parking. -Staff is very friendly. -There's a gymnastics studio and a track where local students practice. I'm excited to try one of their fitness classes. I hope you enjoy.

I don't understand all the low ratings…read more A group of us decided to spend a whole Saturday at Penthouse. I went in with no expectations as it's a rooftop pool in the city. This usually means super slow service, with mediocre food. Needless to say, I was extremely blown away with the ambiance, food, and service. Ambiance: surprisingly when we went it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. The scene was more relaxing than party central. In addition, the establishment had brand new modern furniture with cabanas and day beds. We had a nice view of the sunset Service: the service was 5 stars! Our waitress, Anaiah, was super friendly and helpful. She had a big smile on her face the whole time. She made sure we were taken good care of. Also, a shoutout to Ty for charging my phone. He offered to charge my phone as the battery was running low and he did it without a frown. Food: please keep in mind that you're eating at a rooftop pool not the Ritz Carlton. The food was pretty good considering where we were dining. I got the chicken avocado sandwich and my boyfriend got the hamburger. The burger and chicken were cooked well. The fries were crispy and delicious. I personally thought the food was priced fairly. We decided to order a bottle of rose so I can't speak for their drinks. But for four orders of food and one bottle of rose we ended up spending around $30pp (4 people total) not bad! My boyfriend and I ended up staying till around 8pm. It was such a relaxing yet fun Saturday! We will definitely be back :)

between a 2.5 and 3 stars…read more I decided to check out the facility and aerobics classes today as I live nearby and they have a good deal for local residents ($150/quarter). I was sorely disappointed. First, the building from the outside looks big, spacious and bright. On the plus side: The pool looks great -25yards and wasn't that busy on a Saturday morning. The locker room was ok. plenty of lockers (they give you keys to), showers were clean. On the not so plus side: the weights/cardio room is just one room, not all that big and limited in what it has. It felt like what you'd find in a big hotel versus what you'd expect a University to have. There were maybe 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a few bikes, and some loose weights. The aerobics class was ok if you are 65+ (which almost everyone there was). The instructor started 10-15mins late, then ended 5mins late thereby starting the next class late as well. The instructor lead an ok class for a senior fitness group but she needed to loose at least 50lbs and therefore her form on lunges or even squats was awful. So, if you are a senior this is a 4* gym, costs only $85/quarter! If you are younger, and have to pay more, it is more like 2* and I would not recommend.
