I called him and he started out by yelling at me and told me if I didn't like it then terminate my agreement. In addition, he didn't require the applicant to include everyone living in the house to be on the lease. I changed property management companies and he refused to give the tenant their deposit back. He was also emailing me from one of the email address and it kept coming back invalid when I responded. I was hesitant about working with this company initially but decided to move forward and that was a big mistake.

Others such as Grier Wakefield, Daniel Wham and Griffin Conaty were unresponsive and apathetic to my communications. DSM had a law firm threaten to sue me if I wrote a disparaging review of my horrible experience with them. It's a shame they're not familiar with the U.S. Constitution. Lastly, they refused to deal with me in 2025 because I left them a negative review 4 years prior when their employees were just as apathetic and unresponsive back then. As a result, I feel that the culture at DSM is very retaliatory toward their clients at the property owner's expense. In addition, if you look at DSM's website, you'll see that each of their team members are pictured. There are 36 total team members, and only one MAY be someone of color. Also, out of the 36, only a third are women. What does that say about DSM's hiring practices? I am a woman, and when I TRIED to be a DSM client on 3 different occasions over the course of the past 4 years, I felt undervalued and dismissed each time!
