    Do Not Engage Maggie Mesinger as your realtor. She is an irresponsible, useless, negligent…read morerealtor. She was the listing agent on a property I recently rented. After my lease was signed, I was required to bring two cashier's checks to Maggie's office. One of the checks was for the first month's rent made payable to Moran & Murray, the company that foolishly employs her and the other check was for the security deposit and pet deposit which was Maggie's responsibility to send to my landlord as she facilitated this transaction. The deposit check was a cashier's check, equivalent to cash, and Maggie was irresponsible and negligent in that she choose to send the cashier's check via regular mail. Realtor's have a fiduciary responsibility to protect their client's funds. The check was lost in the mail with no way to track it down. Essentially she lost her client's money of approximately $1,900. Fortunately the check was not cashed. I then had to make numerous phone calls to my bank, spent two hours at a branch, filled out a ton of paperwork, and had to pay $67.10 in fees in order to get the check canceled and the funds reissued to give to my landlord. Maggie is fortunate I am honest, as I could have easily told her she lost the check and it is not my responsibility as I have proof I delivered the checks as instructed. Frankly if she was too lazy to send the check to my landlord she could have contacted me and I would have arranged Fedex or another reputable delivery option. Note, that the realtor I employed actually showed me the property, edited the lease she presented that was full of errors and consummated the transaction on behalf of Maggie's client. The only responsibility she had was to get the check to her client and she failed miserably. As a public service, I am warning anyone considering employing Maggie Mesinger to do so at your own risk. You have been warned.

    This company is probably one the the worst I have dealt with…read more After my deal fell through ... they washed their hands clean of all responsibility of helping us get our deposit back. They want us to take the seller to court but are refusing to share the sellers address. We are left to fend for ourselves. I am taking long and foster to court. Please save yourselves and go with another company who actually have their clients best interest at in mind.

    Do not hire Omar and his company as a property manager. He is very unprofessional. They made an…read moreerror on the lease for a tenant expected to rent one of my properties and he put on the lease that I (the landlord) would be responsible for utilities when I clearly sent emails stating the tenant would be responsible. I called him and he started out by yelling at me and told me if I didn't like it then terminate my agreement. In addition, he didn't require the applicant to include everyone living in the house to be on the lease. I changed property management companies and he refused to give the tenant their deposit back. He was also emailing me from one of the email address and it kept coming back invalid when I responded. I was hesitant about working with this company initially but decided to move forward and that was a big mistake.

As of date, I still have a tenant in my home, who has paid rent late and now who hasn't paid rent in almost 3 months. This entire time, Omar from Advance Property Management in the State of Delaware has neglected to send late notices to tenants but charge late fees (that he keeps) and has never filed in the local court for a failure to pay rent! There has been many, many errors, obvious neglect, and misinformation from Omar of Advanced Property Management! I'm truly distraught, angry and still in complete shock! I'm currently seeking legal advice which is going to be another expense! I warn you DO NOT USE ADVANCED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY! This company will cause you huge expenses and refuse to properly manage your rental!

    I gave one star because I couldn't give zero…read more DO NOT use Aspen Property Management - especially if you value fairness, respect, and basic human decency. Aspen Property Management managing in Edgewood, MD -- and they are by far the WORST management company I've ever encountered. They claim to "serve the community," but that's nothing more than a hollow slogan. In reality, Aspen exists to exploit and take advantage of the very communities they're supposed to protect. Case in point: they're out here towing cars from property owners -- not random abandoned vehicles -- but actual residents -- for the most minor of infractions. We're talking about something like a flat tire that happened just one day prior. No grace. No courtesy notice. No decency. Instead, they send in their go-to tow company -- basically glorified predatory patrols -- riding around like bounty hunters, looking for any reason to snatch cars off the lot. It's sneaky, unethical, and downright egregious. Aspen isn't here to build or support communities -- they're here to profit off of people's misfortunes, one towing fee, fine, and headache at a time. If you're thinking about doing business with them -- DON'T. Run in the opposite direction. There are better options out there. Don't allow this company to cause you unnecessary stress, financial strain, and frustration. Aspen Property Management is a disgrace to what community management is supposed to be.
