My regular PCP moved to the ER and I was assigned a new PCP through Multicare. However, when I needed to be seen for a physical, I was told that I would have to wait 6 weeks for the first appointment just to meet my newly assigned PCP to establish care... and of course, a copay was expected for that visit. Dr Rietze accepts text messages and phone calls and responds within a day, offering a visit within the next few days, if necessary, but never more than a couple weeks out if non-urgent. She takes her time with me and truly cares about my health... and I'm saving so much money, even on top of insurance premiums! I highly recommend Lilac DPC - this alternative has restored my faith in healthcare.

The office actually saw my profile and knew who I was when I called....and... they fit me in that day, even though their schedule was full. I was seen by Matt (NP), and he was thorough, direct, and personable. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed that medicine was actually geared towards, me, the patient, and my comfort...not satisfying the limiting insurance rules, or waiting 8 hours in urgent care for something that should take 1 hour, at most. Kaiser will do everything like in my case to delay the situation until it is too late. They also didn't document my initial complaint and office visit when my stiches were removed. Because of this, I am not eligible for a federal vaccine program that they should have recommended to me instead of putting me off and not fulfilling the record of my initial complaint. They also promised to pay for an X-Ray and office visit which I am now being billed for. This is borderline malpractice. The worst care I have ever received. I came in to have my toes stitched up after an injury. They said I needed a hand surgeon to repair my injury and sent me off to the Emergency Room. Unfortunately, before I left, they gave me a Tetanus shot. It seemed like it was the first time the person had ever administered a vaccine because the other 2 caregivers in the room cheered weirdly. The shot was injected too high on the arm causing a SERVA injury (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). Even though my toes have healed and I didn't need a "hand surgeon," 7 months later I still have the shoulder injury. Kaiser Permanente doesn't seem to care. I have basically been ignored. My first complaint was taken from someone I could barely understand in Manila, Philippines. Kaiser promised to investigate and get back in contact with me in 30 days. This did not happen. I have made 3 calls to Jennifer the facility manager and she has not returned my calls. I contacted the Department of Health only to find out you can't make a complaint to them because for some reason they don't have jurisdiction over this facility. My paper work from the incident doesn't show which physician or physician assistant was present nor which staff member administered the injection which injured me. Was hoping to have this addressed quickly so that others aren't injured or have a similar problem. If you need care, I would steer clear from this location because from my experience they don't seem very well trained, professional or caring.

Office staff does NOT like being questioned about the wait time. Whomever is in charge is pretty petty. When I told them I was choosing *not* to continue as a patient, they went so far as to discharge me with a nastily worded letter that showed their personal fragility. They'll probably survive without me and there's plenty of other practices out there.
