The first visit didn't help -- they said it was on the electric company. This went on for almost a month. We were frustrated, confused, and honestly starting to feel crazy. We called American Home Shield one last time, and the lady on the phone said, "We're sending the Electric Whisperer -- Daniel." Daniel swept the entire house thoroughly and finally discovered the real issue: the electric company had messed up the transformer connection. He found what no one else could. Daniel literally saved us. It's been about a week and a half now, and we've had zero flickering, zero clicking, and total peace of mind. Terrible Experience with SJDI Electric Company…read more I had a very frustrating experience with SJDI Electric. I scheduled a service call, and when the technician arrived, I was delayed due to an airport drop-off for my wife. I explained the situation and asked if he could wait a few extra minutes for me to arrive, but he refused to be flexible at all. To make matters worse, I had to change my flight plans just to accommodate the technician's strict schedule. I'm paying for this service call, so it's not like the technician was coming out for free, and I expected a little more understanding. The lack of flexibility was incredibly disappointing, especially since this was a scheduled service and I was doing my best to make it on time. On top of that, the dispatch, Cindy, was absolutely no help. She was not cooperative and showed no sympathy toward my situation. It felt like they cared more about sticking to their rigid schedule than providing good customer service. I would not recommend SJDI Electric Company based on my experience.

With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value.
