And a little overwhelming. I assumed everything would be processed but I'm pretty sure the coney sauce was house made. Footlong coney day was always one of my favorite lunch days in high school so I opted for the footlong coney. It was pretty good. A regular size one would have been plenty since apparently my adult stomach is smaller than my high school stomach. The strawberry soft serve was good too. It was more tangy than sweet. My brother had the carrot cake ice cream. While it wasn't as carrot cake-y as he expected, he still liked it. The employees were friendly and we got our food fairly quick. There were several other people walking up/dining in and the drive-thru was busy the whole time we were eating.

I mentioned this place as I was searching for somewhere to eat lunch and my colleague said her daughter loves it. Thus, I set my GPS and off I went. So glad I tried this cozy, quaint, delicious restaurant. I saw scratch biscuits & gravy listed on the menu. I switched from my planned lunch idea to breakfast and was not disappointed. I also saw the B & G combo options and ordered BURNT hash browns only hoping for at least light brown. Usually, when I order burnt and very crispy the restaurants can't seem to honor my special instructions. This great place served me EXACTLY what I requested. Ironically, two ladies at the next table got my attention to inquire what I was eating? When I explained it was burnt hash browns per my request they both said they love them burnt too. Within minutes my table, and the table next had three lovely crispy brown orders of hash browns! My server was quite friendly and attentive. She checked on me a couple of times without me having to flag her down. Everyone in this charming restaurant was super friendly. Best of all the prices were extremely low. i honestly can't wait to go back next week!!!
