Wow. Just wow. The entire process felt like talking to a brick wall. Corrected expectations repeatedly just for them to still not do the job adequately. They are SO stuck on the idea that we just wanted the tree off our fence. No, as we stated multiple times very clearly, we needed the tree off the fence and the CUT LOGS TO BE MANAGEABLE. I left a Google review and they responded with a long, poorly written response straight up lying about several things. Even though there is another one-star review absolutely defaming them, they didn't respond to that person. I guess I struck a nerve. They told me wasn't their job to make the logs manageable or to cut them... what is the point then? That is absolutely what my husband asked you to do multiple times! The fence was only part of the issue. Dishonest work and sloppy crew members who were cussing while they were here. But according to Tree Giants, we weren't home when they were here (uh... yeah, we were. My husband even laughed with them in the backyard). Absolute insanity. The job was trash. I was nicer in my Google review, but I'm not going to be here. Whoever responded to me had the absolute basic facts of the job wrong (even stated the tree fell from the neighbor's yard when it was literally in our yard...?). If you can't even get a detail like that correct, why do you expect me to give your BS response any merit whatsoever? They said we misunderstood the job. How do we misunderstand the job we requested? Seems more like THEY misunderstood, then miscommunicated. I can't get over the fact that they claimed nobody was home and that their office attempted to contact my husband repeatedly afterward. We were home all three times anyone from Tree Giants was here. They have all this recorded footage "proof," but they can't see my husband in the yard with them? Also, they did NOT attempt to contact him first and his call log and email show that very clearly, but they tried to make it seem like they couldn't get in touch with him. I've never met anyone who answers ALL phone calls, except my husband. He called them to get back in touch about the job not being finished. Then, even after he was disappointed with the follow up job, he was the one to contact them first about when to expect an invoice. Why lie about things like that? It would be better for a business to just not address odd details like that to start with rather than lie about them. The job was NOT worth $2k. If they had actually done what he asked them to do it might have been. If I had looked at their socials beforehand, I would've told my husband to go with someone else. They posted a weird AI photo to advertise their company's clean up efforts during the aftermath of hurricane Helene. I really, truly hope they didn't believe that strange photo was real. I can't help but think the person who responded to my Google review without knowing the difference between "accessible" and "assessable" is the type to believe an AI photo is real. Good work crew and got after two large trees in my yard. Did a great job and picked up and cleaned up before they left my property.Head guy checked with me before they left my property for my inspection and to approve their work. Tree Giants did a great job. The company and crew went above and beyond. They were flexible when we needed something different than had been agreed to, but still advised us as to the best way to proceed. They worked safely, removing two large trees, one that was close to hitting the ground, the other one leaning, both growing next to a fence, no problem. Removed two trees as agreed to that were threatening the house and back deck. But really, that involved a third tree that had grown into one of the others. They took care of it, no extra charge. They climbed a huge tree to cut back limbs from power lines as originally agreed and when requested, cut additional limbs over the backyard. Left the work site clean as promised. The company had provided insurance documents upon request (which checked out) and they sent precise quotes with selections for specific trees, stumps, etc. Made it a simple process. FOR CONTEXT: I attempted to remove some smaller trees on my own and quickly realized I would need the help of professionals. And these guys were indeed professional! It was clear right away that these guys were quite experienced. Tree removal is not only dangerous, but it can be a tricky puzzle to know in what order, and in which direction limbs will swing and trunks will fall. These guys had it down to a science and could predict these things with such precision, that they were able to steer clear of structures and buildings that I thought were impossible to avoid. But they did it like it was no big deal. Their cleanup was so thorough, and the stump removal transformed our yard into a place I can be proud of. The original person who came out to estimate the cost was good but she didnt follow up with the crew when I pointed out a discrepancy between the estimate and our discussion. These guys were awesome. Gave us a very competitive price, completely professional, worked probably harder than they'd intended, and stayed until the job was completely done. We had a severely rotted 100ft sycamore that was definitely going to hit the house if it fell, and we went through several other companies who either couldn't handle the height or didn't bother to show up. Tree Giants did a wonderful job on removing 7 trees from our yard. They responded to my request for an estimate immediately and came to complete the job within a few days. I would definitely recommend this company. They were respectful our our yard, and even removed leaves and debris that was not even part of the trees they were taking down. One large tree was on our fence row and next to the driveway, hanging out over my Koi pond and they removed it and all the limbs without any problem or issues with the surroundings. The gentleman, Jared did a quick quote on 3 trees.. I did a fast shop knocking out 6 companies and trees aren't cheap but let me tell you ....I left town and his team did an excellent job. They removed a bad hackberry tree and 2 other trees plus ground the stumps and left the yard nice. Very responsive. The crew came out to remove 2 trees and shape 2 oak trees that were hanging over the house and raining acorns onto the roof. They did a wonderful job and even blew all the acorns off my roof, deck and driveway. They were knowledgeable and answered all my questions .
