It is our immense pleasure to recommend Dawn Begley of Alexander Realty as a real estate agent for…read moreany individual or family searching for the ideal home for their unique situation. Dawn had an initial (phone) meeting with us and took diligent notes regarding our specific needs in selling our single family home as well as our budgetary limitations. She is highly talented technologically and made excellent use of the relevant search engines and real estate databases to quickly sell our property. Our property in St. Charles County was a particularly hard property for anyone to sell (it had been on the market for several years and Dawn had a contract on it in less than a month!). We are retired and in another state so all transactions were phone/email. My husband is ill and we could not travel to the property or do any maintenance on it. The property was badly overgrown and in need of repairs. Dawn arranged for the property to be cleaned up and inspected. The house had no air conditioning, heat, or water, but Dawn did not let these hardships stop her from making the sell. We are eternally grateful. A master with the contract negotiations, Dawn came up with a deal that was good for us and made the buyers happy as well. Throughout this home selling process, she managed to sell our property for an excellent price, especially in the current market situation and the condition of the property. She knows St. Charles County like the back of her hand. There is nothing that escapes Dawn's attention when it comes to property for sale in this area. We found Dawn to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were her only customers, although we know that was not the case. She returned all phone calls and emails the same day. We never felt neglected or unimportant. She is also highly personable with an engaging personality. Dawn was honest about changes that we needed to make in our property and the house located on it to attract buyers quickly, and her advice worked like a charm. We are pleased to recommend Dawn Begley of Alexander Realty to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if we ever need to buy or sell again she will be our first choice in real estate agents. Dawn guided us and the buyers through the entire process, from the buyer's loan prequalification's to closing the deal. We credit Dawn with a smooth, stress-free home-selling experience. Jen Oliver is a ROCK SOLID realtor. She shows up professionally and authentically for her clients…read moreevery day. I am so thankful for her care and support throughout my home buying search. Thanks to Jen's industry and negotiating skills we ultimately found our dream home, and even ended up coming in under budget! We wanted a realtor who could match our intentions of positivity and kindness during this process, and show compassion for all of the players that we had to collaborate with throughout (sellers, buyers, brokers, mortgage officers, etc.) While interviewing realtors we found a lot who appear farther on the scale of greedy or unauthentic, seemingly wanting to push us to make fast decisions so they can get onto their next task. Jen always encouraged us to take our time making our own choices. She was so great about talking through all of our options, patiently answering our questions, and giving us pros/cons for each - but ultimately always had us make our own decisions independently. Then whatever decision we came to, Jen supported us whole heartedly every single time. The first conversation I had with Jen as my realtor she told me that through this process there would be moments of panic and stress, and that it would be ok to call her and vent or yell anytime. Unknowing at the time how stressful the first time home buying process can be, I thought 'that doesn't really sound like me...' Low and behold... the day came when I was calling Jen in a full panic attack in the middle of the night ( and then again at 7 AM in the morning). Her calming demeanor and patience was exactly what we needed to get us through those more difficult/time sensitive issues. Jen has a beautiful balance between being casual enough to text or call with random thoughts & questions and have a real human connection with; while also staying consistently professional enough to get through the lawyer jargon and ins and outs of the business. She also shows up as a professional via being so well connected in the industry. Jen had recommendations for contacts for every step. For example she set us up with a fantastic inspector, who was careful and thorough during his walkthrough and so patient answering all of our questions. Another incredible way Jen showed up for us is the way she responded to last minute emergencies - for example we received our title survey only a few days before closing, and were told our building extended onto the neighbors property line by half a foot. Jen promptly contacted the sellers realtor and broker to ask questions and get us more information on how to mitigate the issue. She even offered to pay for and deliver the easement deed herself! Luckily it did not come down to that, and we were provided the signed easement deed well before closing. Jen also has a rock solid team to help support her. Jess and Jamie help with logistics and stepping in for the moments when Jen can't be in two places at once (though she tries!). The level of care and compassion they have for each other, which bleeds directly into all of their client relationships, is clearly something that would never be accomplishable working with a large corporation or real estate firm. They show up with the resources and information that you would receive from a large corporation, but with a much higher level of customer service and individual care. I cannot praise Jen Oliver Real Estate highly enough to truly express all of my gratitude for their support during this process. Thank you for everything! Elizabeth & Keegan
