The email said I cancelled the appointment, but he understood and I could set up a new appointment. I did Not cancel the appointment. I called his cell number he had given me at 8 am. It has been almost 2 hours and no response. This is the second cancellation. The first one I found out about after arriving to the appointment! This is unacceptable. I have been with PNC since PNC came to town. I am very disappointed at this lack of customer service. Anyone know a good bank in town?

When you walk in, it's a little bit confusing as to where you're supposed to go. The branch is set up to look like two separate departments all in one space. On the right side of the branch, the floor is carpeted, and the space contains several desks with employees. Some of the employees had customers sitting at their desks, and some were working independently. On the left side of the room, the floor is tiled, and there are teller windows. There is no maze of ropes to walk through to wait in line. Instead, there were 2 customers simply standing back behind the one teller that was open. So I just followed suit and stood behind the other 2 customers. Soon, another teller came and opened another window. She called me over to help me. I needed to get some bank statements printed. No problem! She printed the statements plus a transaction register so I could see every transaction on the account. So quick. So easy. So efficient!

Simple request and the lobby is empty. I am not a ruffian well spoken and looking much more professional than he is in short sleeve wrinkled polo. The casher asks me if I am a member and I say no I am in town for a funeral down the street and need to make change to pay the musicians. ($30 for three songs seems like decent thing to do.) He tells me that since I am not a member he won't help me. Remember the place is empty except for him and another teller sitting down. Insurance- yep not the sexiest thing to talk about but you simply have to have it. I've read in…read moreseveral financial columns, magazines and online that it's smart to review your coverage every once on awhile. I recently received my annual homeowners renewal notice and decided now would be a good time to shop around. Especially since they were increasing my premium- not a huge increase but nonetheless an increase and like everyone I want to be smart with my money. I decided to call an independent agency as they will do all the leg work for you, compare companies and find the best coverage for your situation. I called Philleo Agency Insurance in Brookfield and what a stroke of luck that was! Jenna Starr took my call and listened to what I needed. She asked me many detailed questions about my home and current coverage. Then she asked me to send over my current insurance company's declaration of coverage so that she could do a thorough comparison. After 3 days Jenna called me and was excited to tell Me she found me some great coverage, for BOTH my home and car, much more than I currently had and for less money. She emailed me The paperwork so we could review it. Then a few days later we met in her office and went over all the coverage and numbers. I was amazed at the increase in coverage including a one million dollar umbrella policy and it cost me much less- Than I was currently paying. The company I am now with is A+ rated too. Philleo is a small agency and I like the fact that they actually have an office that I can walk into and talk to my agent. I also like that when I call a human picks up the phone- none of this "press 1 if you want blah blah blah..." sometime I just want to talk to a person! They truly know the meaning of customer service. The personal touch was evident in all our conversations. I certainly hope I will never have to call Jenna with a claim BUT if I do, I know I will be well taken care of. Jenna handled everything even cancelling my current policy. It was a total "No-brainer" MORE Coverage for LESSI money. I am so happy I finally reviewed my current home and auto policies and that I called Philleo Agency Insurance. If you need insurance (and you do!) or if you need to review your current policies ( and you should!) then give Jenna Starr at Philleo Agency Insurance a call. Your wallet will thank you ;)
