I recently received my annual homeowners renewal notice and decided now would be a good time to shop around. Especially since they were increasing my premium- not a huge increase but nonetheless an increase and like everyone I want to be smart with my money. I decided to call an independent agency as they will do all the leg work for you, compare companies and find the best coverage for your situation. I called Philleo Agency Insurance in Brookfield and what a stroke of luck that was! Jenna Starr took my call and listened to what I needed. She asked me many detailed questions about my home and current coverage. Then she asked me to send over my current insurance company's declaration of coverage so that she could do a thorough comparison. After 3 days Jenna called me and was excited to tell Me she found me some great coverage, for BOTH my home and car, much more than I currently had and for less money. She emailed me The paperwork so we could review it. Then a few days later we met in her office and went over all the coverage and numbers. I was amazed at the increase in coverage including a one million dollar umbrella policy and it cost me much less- Than I was currently paying. The company I am now with is A+ rated too. Philleo is a small agency and I like the fact that they actually have an office that I can walk into and talk to my agent. I also like that when I call a human picks up the phone- none of this "press 1 if you want blah blah blah..." sometime I just want to talk to a person! They truly know the meaning of customer service. The personal touch was evident in all our conversations. I certainly hope I will never have to call Jenna with a claim BUT if I do, I know I will be well taken care of. Jenna handled everything even cancelling my current policy. It was a total "No-brainer" MORE Coverage for LESSI money. I am so happy I finally reviewed my current home and auto policies and that I called Philleo Agency Insurance. I enjoyed talking with him and he heard my concerns and took action right away.   I have had unfortunate luck with my car over the past year.  Talking with Jason each time got the ball rolling.  While insurance companies are typically something no one looks forward to dealing with I have actually been pleasantly surprised by Jason Smith.  After not hearing back about my car for a week I reached out to Jason.  I let him know my situation and ended up getting the answers I wanted that same day.  He sat on the phone calling over and over again until he finally got an answer.  Informed the adjuster of my timeline and updated me promptly.  A week of nothing getting done, turned into 30 minutes of getting my concerns answered and the car getting fixed (parts were ordered!).  The next day my car repairs were done.   I honestly felt like he cared and our conversations were genuine.  This is the guy you want in your corner.  I hope Allstate realizes what they have with Jason.  Writing is not my strong point, but I hope I'm getting my point across that this is an A+ employee. 10 out of 10 times I'll ask for Jason, and you should too.  I really appreciate it Jason and hope you see this!

Follow up emails on setting up autopay and paperless discounts on my AmFam account. Super responsive to emails. Always available when I called during business hours. After almost a full year with AmFam I shopped around and saw that I could save some money on my auto insurance. I did not renew with AmFam and tried getting cheaper insurance. Huge mistake. GEICO tried pushing me on less coverage (NOPE) and another tried telling me there were multiple theft claims from my address (apartment building) stretching back 5 years despite me living in the building for only one year....wanted me to prove the claims weren't from my policy despite my Feb 2019 policy being the first renters policy I have EVER had. I am back with AmFam and very happy.
