There's no sense in buying an airplane if it's just going to be sitting in the hangar most of the time. NetJets has planes as small as 8 passenger, up to 16 passengers. If you're taking your whole entourage out with you to an obscure, distant and remote airport, this could certainly be a lot more attractive than flying commercial. Plus, if you want luxury and privacy, there's no other way to fly. You'll be thinking that United's for suckers after you get in one of these planes.
