Instead of going out and buying that G4, NetJets can offer a similar set up. Instead of buying an airplane outright, you can buy into an airplane, kind of like a time-sharing arrangement. NetJets takes care of the maintenance of the aircraft, staffing and crew, and pilots. You buy in, and get a card with so many hours of flight time, and you can take the plane where ever you want. There's no sense in buying an airplane if it's just going to be sitting in the hangar most of the time. NetJets has planes as small as 8 passenger, up to 16 passengers. If you're taking your whole entourage out with you to an obscure, distant and remote airport, this could certainly be a lot more attractive than flying commercial. Plus, if you want luxury and privacy, there's no other way to fly. You'll be thinking that United's for suckers after you get in one of these planes. Everything is decked out in plush, soft leather and beautiful, rich, polished wood. They have all the latest technology on board, and comfortable restrooms. If you don't like the program, NetJets will buy your share back after three years, which makes it easier if you change your mind about private airplanes, or just decide to buy something faster or bigger than what NetJets offers.
