Great, inviting seating and colors.

What a great, fun throwback to the 1950's and 1960's that is Lanai Bowl! The colors are pure retro, inviting, warm and exciting. Tunes playing in the background are from the 1950's and 1960's, catchy and toe-tapping vibes. I had the small oxtail soup. Ono! All the condiments were served along with a nice helping of white rice. Perfect size for me. I also tried the roast pork with ab unusual side of vinegared won bok, which was a nice, tasty surprise. The menu includes sides, burgers, pizza, salads, local plates, etc. Really nice selections to choose from. Nice selection of desserts too! Gotta try it when on Lanai!

FIVE STARS AND HONORED TO BE THE FIRST REVIEW I am not from Lānaʻi, but I was lucky enough to be here shortly after this bowling alley opened, and let me tell you, it was already the talk of the town the day I visited. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The owners and management took the time to show us around, and you could immediately feel the pride and love they put into this place. I honestly could not place the exact era of the vibe, but that is part of what made it so special. It was retro in the best way. Beautiful, nostalgic, and full of character. Somewhere between Grease and Back to the Future, in a way that just works It actually made me sad that I only had enough time to come here once during my trip. Let us talk food because it deserves its moment. The pizza was so good. We tried the pepperoni, the cheese, and the mushroom pizza, and I highly recommend the mushroom one. So flavorful and comforting. The lemonade was perfectly sweet and tasted freshly squeezed. Simple things done right always win. My time was unfortunately short, so I did not get to experience the bowling part yet, but oh man, next time I visit, it is going down. That will be the very first place I go. We spent most of our time playing games instead, and while the selection was small, it was honestly perfect for what it was. The games were well chosen, fun, and appropriate for all ages. It felt intentional and thoughtful. The aesthetic is really where this place shines. It sparked my inner child immediately. It felt like one of those places you would meet up at after school. Grab a soda, eat pizza, play games, laugh with friends, and head home before the street lights come on. That exact feeling. Pure joy and nostalgia They also have merchandise, and of course I had to grab a shirt because I am absolutely going to represent this place. Part of me wanted to gate keep it, but places this good deserve to be known. The cooks are great. The staff is great. Even the bathrooms were aesthetically pleasing, which always says a lot. This place is fresh, exciting, welcoming, and full of heart. This place absolutely deserves a well earned five star review as its first. Go experience it for yourself. Spark that inner child, because that is exactly what it did for me

Bathroom with heated toilet seats

Amazing food and environment! So happy they opened this on Lana'i. Cuuuuute decor and heated toilet seats. Great place!

One stop shop place to get a quick bite and knock out a round of fun with family and friends. Located conveniently in the heart of town, Dole Park. The space is retro themed bowling alley, with four lanes, an arcade and dining area. Our favorite offering was the pizza! It was ono!!! Get that if you need to decide on one item. Staff was nice and professional all around. We really had a great time! Will be back!

Pull-apart pizza pretzel with miso ranch sauce. so good!

So clean and fun! Lanai's new bowling alley food was tasty, with good service. Loved!

Invited to a party and got to visit Lucky Strike for the first time. Have known of it, but just…read morenever got here until today. Staff were friendly and helpful, helping is get our bowling shoes and drinks. Drinks were good. Bar was limited (for us) but plenty of draft beer, but had enough variety. There are sofas and bar stool tables to sit at. Sofas are a bit worn and very deep but comfortable enough. Party room is spacious but comfy at the same time. Bowling was fun. It was a bit challenging to set up our names, but doable. There are four lanes and you have the usual option of gutters on or off. Adequate number of balls, plenty of shoes. Multiple (3) pizza choices, (2) sliders, and wings were available to us. Also a delicious Caesar salad, hummus and baba ganoush (?) and pita with veggies platter, fries. Not sure what else is available (should have grabbed a take out menu...) But offerings we had were plentiful. UH football game was on (Go Bows!) since it was a UH Watch party for us. It was a breezy day and the party room door was left open so the temperature was very comfortable. Not sure if they always leave the door open but it was good choice for today. Bathroom was clean (important to ladies!). Fun place to spend a few hours.

If they do have one I…read moreguess I missed it. lucky strike located in the Alamoana shopping center above the food court by macys not the main food court. The insides is pretty cool. A lot of games and lights, it's like an upscale fun factory. A different vibe from D&B more of an arcade. They do have a pretty cool sports bar section in the back or in the front, depending in which way you entered. This review is not for the games it is specifically for the bar side. The bar is pretty cool. It has a lot of monitors that are playing sports or other programs. The sitting area aint too big (pic) but I imagine very crowded on the weekends. They even have inhouse bathrooms that wasnt too clean but not nasty either. The food is all bar food such as burgers fries tacos fish and chips etc. I'm not commenting on the drinks because I dont drink. The service was kind of slow, but then again we went on a tuesday just before 5 pm. They had three staff that we could see. A bartender, a waiter, and I guess a host. The staff wasn't overly friendly but pleasant. The food was ok not good or bad just average. The prices was manageable specially it being in the mall and the portions was pretty good. I can see how this would be a cool destination to watch sports or a cool option for a weekend cruise spot.

My Aunty recommended we try to go in at opening for open bowl. They offer $3 games Monday, Tuesday,…read moreand Friday 8:30-10 am and they have better maintained lanes than Aiea Bowl. The only thing is they have a lot of leagues. We got there 8:45 am and their lanes were already full. We signed up on the wait list with only one party ahead of us. We ended up waiting an hour half before getting a lane. The lady working the desk was super nice and when asked how many games, suggested two. The kids only wanted to bowl one game so I paid for that plus $5 shoe rentals. They have a 3% convenience fee for using credit cards. Once we started the game, the kids were going through frames quick since they were guttering a bit. They decided they did want to play another game and the lady accommodated the last minute change and added the extra game. The cost did go up to the junior rate of $4.50. They announce that all games must be completed by 11:15 for the early bowl. I enjoyed the old school feel to the bowling alley and it seemed like everyone knew one another there. I ordered 3 bao buns with crispy pork for $15 and a spam and egg sandwich. They were both tasty and the kids loved it! The only downside was it took the entire game before the food was ready as we were leaving.

I never write reviews, but the front desk worker named VINCENT was extremely rude and provided…read morehorrible service to our group. When we asked him if our 1 hour time started right when he opened up our lane or when we first started bowling, he said: "I hope so" with attitude and a straight face. So we assumed that our time started when we started bowling. My entire group ordered food before we started bowling, assuming our timer didn't start, but when we started bowling, we already lost 5 minutes (Mind you, it is $70 per lane per hour). Then, our bowling balls were getting stuck in the machine and not being properly returned to us. So, we told him that they were stuck, and he replied by saying "Holy shit" and nothing else. Then, when I walked past the desk to pickup my food, he stopped me and said "If you keep getting balls stuck like that we're gonna kick you out". The balls were getting stuck because the alley's system was not working properly, and he still threatened to kick us out. Our bowls repeatedly got stuck 2 more times and we had to tell Vincent about it, and each time he rolled his eyes and had an irritated look on his face. After the second time our balls got stuck, he moved us to new lanes (Keep in mind, our 1 hour timer was still ticking). After we moved lanes, one of our buddies asked if we could get our time back because of the amount of delays that were happening (Time started before we started bowling, bowling balls getting stuck 3 times, switching lanes completely). Vincent told my buddy "That's not how it works" over and over again, and we did not get our time back. As we were leaving, we asked for his name, and on our way out be replied with "If you get one problem, don't come back again!". The absolute worst service I have ever experienced.
