Mason is only about 20 miles from Brady so it's the closest place to catch a current release. They show one movie a week, typically one showing a day on Thurs-Mon. They also do some special shows and music acts when they can. You don't have to bring your own chairs anymore as there are comfortable sliding theater seats, and the AC works great on a warm Texas summer day. I saw that they want to raise money to get nice curtaining for it next, with greater ambitions leading to putting a balcony with more seating in later. Please consider giving them your support!

Not from previous viewing that day, mind you. This was maybe a week's accumulation of nasty. Fortunately the seat next to me was unoccupied. I did not feel the need to interrupt my viewing experience to go full "Karen" and get the management team out to see my seat. I should have... immediately after the film, I contacted Cinemark through the app and emailed asking for a refund and was told this: "Unfortunately, we are unable to process a refund at this time because the showtime has passed and we show that these tickets have been picked up. Situations like this need to be brought to the attention of our staff immediately during your visit so we can take corrective action--such as moving your seats or addressing the problem on the spot." Refunding a ticket to a LOYAL CUSTOMER for a single Sunday matinee ticket was a simple solution. Instead, when I reported the issue with but a tepid, canned response, I told the rep that I intended to post about my negative experience on social media... her response was "Carpe Diem"... That's some BS. I think I'll be spending my money elsewhere.
