The first show was Oklahoma and it was also very well done. It's nice to have quality productions from a small local theater. We drove over from Lago Vista and it was well worth the drive. It was nice to see current and former Marble Falls theater students in the performances. I was not familiar with Forever Plaid and was a little skeptical about it, but it was really good. Kudos to former Marble Falls student Charles McClean for his performance! We will certainly be back to support this gem of a theater. Thanks for two great performances. Keep up the great work!

Between the facial expressions, dancing and wonderful singing, this was an experience worth driving from Houston, or anywhere you might be in Texas. Charles McLean was fabulous as Frederick Frankenstein and Brandon Gonzales was brilliant as Igor. The rest of the cast was equally as talented and enjoyable. If you haven't seen it yet, Young Frankenstein is running through November 2. It's a must see, especially if you need a night of laughter!

Had some drinks, played some pool, and entered the gun raffle. They have a great dance floor, but there weren't too many single guys to dance with by 9PM...and I asked a lot of guys if they could dance, and they looked like deer in headlights...so we ended up leaving to hit another dancehall. I think there was a big group having a birthday party, so it was a lot of people, but not a lot of dancers. Repeating that it wasn't racist and defending that behavior doesn't make it acceptable -- it only serves to dismiss legitimate concerns and brush them aside. By definition, racism involves treating someone unfairly, excluding, harassing, or demeaning them based on their race or ethnicity. When the DJ used the phrase "your people," it was clearly exclusionary. When he said, "If I only play Latino music, then the others will leave," it positioned our presence as a problem and created a sense of unwelcome. The situation escalated further when our group was asked to leave -- not for being disruptive, but simply for disagreeing with the music -- while the DJ referred to us as "you and your fucking people." That is not only unprofessional, but also deeply offensive and humiliating. Even your comment about "staying in your own lane" implies exclusion. Why? Because we voiced our disagreement? Because we stood up for ourselves and asked to celebrate Latino culture on a night that was specifically promoted as Latino Night? You've suggested this issue only occurred because your regular DJ wasn't present, but this behavior reflects a broader, ongoing pattern. Regardless of who was in the DJ booth, the treatment of that group was inappropriate and inexcusable. Defending it -- and attempting to shift the narrative -- is deeply disappointing. And respectfully, claiming that you used your own money to promote Latino Night in an attempt to gain sympathy is out of touch. You own a large, well-established club. Investing in the promotion of your own events is a business expense -- not a personal sacrifice. If you'r going to promote a cultural night, you have a responsibility to respect and honor the community you're representing.

The healthy portion of Burrata cheese, the acidity in the balsamic glaze and tomatoes creates a seamless match with the Sangiovese, enhancing the wine's red fruit characteristics without washing out the palate. For this trip, I also tasted the 2023 Meritage, a dark, complex blend anchored by Texas grown grapes including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon balanced with Cabernet Franc. Offers layered aromas of cassis, graphite, baking spices and grounded by structured, firm tannins. My previous review included the feedback that prices were incredibly high. Now, the prices of everything else has caught up. Good job Team Perissos. The hospitality of the staff is why we moved to Texas in the 80s. There are lots of items that explain the history of the town, from items doctors used, to furniture, to Victorian hair art and even photos of the tragic murder of two local military women. What a charming little town Marble Falls is. The drive out to Sweet Berry Farm alone sets the tone…read morewith all the rolling hills and beautiful scenery. Even though we had chilly weather and a little rain, it didn't stop us one bit. We ended up picking close to seven pounds of fresh strawberries and they were so tasty and juicy. The whole experience of walking row by row and picking the perfect berry was so much fun. There's even a helpful little sign explaining how to pick the strawberries properly so they last longer. *Pro tip, leave a bit of the stem on the strawberry as you pick them, they stay fresh longer. We learned that after the fact, but we'll definitely do it right next time. The farm is huge, around 152 acres of expansive land, which was very green, open, and peaceful. It wasn't crowded at all the day we went, which made it even more enjoyable. The kids had a blast. They have a cute little train ride, a fun bouncing area, and plenty of space for the kiddies to run around. The goats were a big highlight for us. You can buy feed for 25 cents a tiny cup, and we went through four pretty quickly - you might want to grab more upfront because they close at 5 and we didn't get a chance to go back for more goat feed. The setup around the goat area was really nice and whimsical, and there's just so much open space to explore and walk and get fresh air. They also have a small gift shop with ice cream and little goodies, which was a nice touch after being out in the fields. Overall, it was such a peaceful, fun, and memorable day. Beautiful views, great atmosphere, and a perfect mix of activities for both kids and adults. We'll absolutely be back. Easily a five star experience.

Love that they don't charge entry fees! They provide you with a box for the berries and charge $3.75 per pound. My girls and I had so much fun picking the berries and eating them after! We also love the farm's homemade strawberry popsicles and ice cream - absolutely delicious. They also offer pick your own flowers, a bouncy area, a barrel train ride, and various arts and crafts activities for kids. There are also baby goats to feed! Fun for the whole family and an awesome day trip.
