My issue has been and still is with their front desk receptionists. Rude, rude, rude. Even my first day returning six months ago after a few years hiatus, I watched the receptionist yell at some patient that walked in the door because their mask wasn't on. Called to cancel an appointment today, less than 24 hours notice as I had forgotten to do it yetsterday, and got chastised with an condescending attitude like I was twelve years old, bascially waiting for me to "give in" to not cancel. Told her I had been unemployed for months and just couldn't afford the $100 cleaning at this time, and she proceeded to tell me that "Well, regardless, you cancelling is now preventing us from what WE'RE trying to do here..." She proceeded to remind me four or five times about the 24 hour notice as if I didn't hear the first few times. Wow. She couldn't care less about me or my pocket, as long as I didn't cancel so they got THEIR money. It's not like they wont fill the appointment. It's clear loyalty is dead these days. I'm surprised Ayottes patients haven't moved on. "Family" dentistry, huh? I guess if maybe it was the Addams family.

The first crown I was still complaining about, I couldn't chew on that side of my mouth. Fast forward second crown done and I'm still complaining something is wrong with the first crown. I felt with it for two years bringing it to their attention at every visit. The dentist referred me to an oral surgeon because they couldn't solve the pain issue.I was not about to pay an oral surgeon so I found a new dentist (not only because of this, the receptionist shouldn't be in customer service). My issue was fixed in his office by a little filing of my bite...first visit!

They currently told me that I needed to wait until March 27 to be seen when I told them my insurance plan they told me oh we don't take that very rudely and then explain to me that I should've told them that at the beginning of the phone call extremely extremely rude. I would never recommend anybody to go to this place horrible staff. I could only imagine being a patient here. I'm sure they do a terrible job, especially if they treat their patients like this from the very beginning from the first phone call. I will also write them up on Google and give them a horrifying rating.

Being a retired physician made it even worse because I knew too much as to what could go wrong, as well as experiencing the normal anxiety brought about by loss of control All that worry was for nothing! I walked in to a beautiful office, was reassured by caring, competent staff, had an IV placed , and in an instant , it seemed, was being escorted to a lounge chair to recover. Today is my second post operative day, and my gum has almost completely covered the extraction site, I've had virtually no pain, required just two Tylenol the first day, and can honestly say that it was easier than some crown preparations I've had. Dr Conforti deserves high praise for his expertise and approach to patient care. I highly recommend this practice

I was not overly thrilled with this place. I have a hard time going to the dentist/ oral surgeon…read moreand have had bad experiences in the past.. I absolutely. love my dentist up here. I need a tooth extracted, a tooth that would be right in front of my wisdom tooth it has needed to come out for months these last 2 yrs have been horrible w/my teeth. My dentist he's made things easy & smooth. Because he knows I tend to have very bad anxiety attacks / hyperventilate... I haven't even had a cleaning in god-knows-how-long and they reassured me when I come in you can even have nitrous for that which I had no idea period they reassured me when I went to this group that they would make me feel comfortable they would give me nitrous blah blah blah. HOWEVER....THIS WAS NOT THE CASE.... I wasn't given nitrous... Dr. Parker kept calling me girlfriend, "hey girlfriend you're doing well"... they gave me novacaine but the pressure was unbelievable it really hurt the dental technician was holding my hand like I was 5 years old. I was a sickly clenching my other hand to where my nails are almost into my skin & had White Knuckles. I can't moving my legs around the pressure was Unreal. He says to me looks like U look like U have an infection in there...Do you they gave me an antibiotic or anything nope?? They put gauze in your mouth & tell U to change it often. That you're probably only need it for about 30 minutes. No I needed it for about 2 hours and there was still bleeding for hours after that. I won't get into those details. When I see my dentist I'm going to let you know unsatisfied I am and if I ever need to go to an oral surgeon again I will not go back to that practice even though that's the place they recommend. They do have 4 different locations Clinton, Guilford, Hamden & Wallingford... I know they're all surgeons and dentists. The only positive thing was the receptionist was extremely friendly that's it.

They did not do a good job at all! All they want is your money they don't even let you talk to the doctor unless your balance is all paid up first and then if you want to insist on seeing the doctor, they will actually call the police on you and have the police come and ask you to leave the facility. This place is definitely one to avoid! This guy "Greenberg" made so many promises in the beginning and afterwards none of them were true! He promised me that I would be able to speak naturally, normally, and not have any issue whatsoever! Unfortunately, I can never speak the same again until someone fixes what's going on in my mouth! Why is it called teeth in a day when you don't get your final teeth for like a year? They literally kept me under sedation for way longer than they were supposed to. They did not do a proper procedure planning at all. They did not disclose with me that my speech would be impaired. During a visit "Greenberg" said that everything will be worked out in my final set and I had to tell him that I'm in my final set! As he had no idea that I'm in my final set, he is not even aware of what's going on with his patients! He is a terrible person! I would avoid this place. I'm telling you you've been warned! He didn't place the implant properly so now I have to go through all these steps to try to get my mouth fixed and file malpractice against this facility, the people inside of it are awful people. They are just the worst people you could ever find on the planet and it figures I had to come find this place because it's close to where I live. I wanted to talk with the doctor to try to work something out to fix my issues, but they would not let me see the doctor after having an appointment that was scheduled months in advance when I show up to my appointment for my regular schedule appointment I get cornered telling me that I have to pay $5500 right now or I cannot see the doctor anymore. Now keep in mind they've already gotten over $40,000 in their pocket already from me. I think that this is ridiculous. It is absurd. Now I will go contact an attorney to file a malpractice lawsuit against this place. You've all been worn to stay away from this place! Even the people in the office watch out for the girl "Amber Bolduc" she will smile to your face and then stick you with a knife in your back

I remember the first consultation feeling a bit overwhelming, but Dr. Winter's step-by-step approach and clear communication helped me feel much more prepared and confident. He made sure I understood all possible outcomes, which I truly appreciated. Thank you to Dr. Winter and your entire staff for your authenticity, communication, positivity, and professionalism throughout this experience. My wisdom tooth extraction went as smoothly as I could have hoped, and scheduling the procedure was almost ridiculously easy. Jaw Fixers offered me an appointment for the day after I called them. I've already recommended their services to a handful of my coworkers, and I plan to continue to do so.
