I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Miller!! First of all, her hygienist Sandi is probably the sweetest woman I've ever met. She took a genuine interest in my life and was constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. She broke the rough news to me that I'd be having to get my wisdom teeth out (while I tried to mask my increasing anxiety about dealing with dry sockets - I still don't know how I'm going to do this.. ). After she gave me my cleaning, Dr. Miller came in to check things out. Such a funny, sweet woman! After a few minutes going over my teeth and trying to ease my nerves when confirming that I would indeed need to get my wisdom teeth removed, she was able to accomodate my crazy work schedule and get me in for a cavity filling the very next day! He and his staff have certainly mastered the practice of dentistry but more importantly are connected to each of their patients individually, assuring great dental care and prevention. I like most have some anxiety about going to the dentist because of a long history of dental and gum pain during procedures. Dr. Pertrick is aware of this and is an expert at preventing this pain during the procedure and at the same time making sure your jaw is not numb for the following 8 hours. The staff does not identify themselves when they call and they are very brusque. I had a severely infected tooth that the doctor ignored, filled twice, and told me he could not see me for another month and a half. He said jokingly "do not eat any corn!" He really didn't care. I have just had my tooth removed from a wonderful dentist, and when I asked to have my records sent over they said they were holding my records, because I owe them $60, a bill they sent me on Saturday and I mailed it in today Monday. Like most people, I was forced into a situation that I wished I could have avoided, a cracked root…read morethat necessitated a tooth extraction. Being a retired physician made it even worse because I knew too much as to what could go wrong, as well as experiencing the normal anxiety brought about by loss of control All that worry was for nothing! I walked in to a beautiful office, was reassured by caring, competent staff, had an IV placed , and in an instant , it seemed, was being escorted to a lounge chair to recover. Today is my second post operative day, and my gum has almost completely covered the extraction site, I've had virtually no pain, required just two Tylenol the first day, and can honestly say that it was easier than some crown preparations I've had. Dr Conforti deserves high praise for his expertise and approach to patient care. I highly recommend this practice
