My wife and I have been looking for loom counter stools for our kitchen and were able to find the model we wanted on the Lamps plus website. After contacting a few locations, we spoke with Stephane from the Oceanside location and were told two stools were available at their store and one at the Fair Oaks locations. Stephane was so helpful and very pleasant to chat with. Both he and his manager, Pal, went out of their way to procure the third stool from the Fair Oaks location. I must commend the team at the Oceanside location for providing frequent updates on the status of our order and when the third stool arrived. We appreciate the effort of this store's team, from the first phone call to purchasing to picking up the furniture and finally meeting them in person. The entire process took about one week, which was a lot faster than either of us expected. We gladly look forward to working with them in the future given our experience. I think I was duped on this one. Prices are jacked up unless you buy on sale. I came in to buy 15 outdoor lamps on sale but by the time they could pull together all the items - because they did not have them all in stock - the sale was over. But no worries the sale was coming again with in 60 days on those items and if I bought now they would rebate me the difference in the sale price based on their policy. I bit. Still getting promises but months later no rebate. To make things worse they no longer respond to phone calls or emails but if I drive in I just get more promises which I am beginning to see as lies. I wish I had bought somewhere more reputable. read more

We purchased a chair/ottoman set over a year ago and the faux leather began to peel, primarily on the welting. I notified Pal W., the store manager, and he took good care to assure that we were treated fairly, offering a straight replacement or refunding a good portion of the purchase price so we could purchase a different chair. Good variety of lamps and fixtures, but customer service is atrocious! We were there about 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. One employee completely ignored us. Two others were with other customers. After a half hour I simply yelled for someone to help us, and a man came out of the back room to answer our question.(same guy who had ignored us before.) Such rudeness by unhappy employees always reflects how they are treated by management. Go elsewhere if you can. read more

My husband and I purchased 2 chandeliers during the Memorial Day sale at this store. Mash helped us with our selections. He is extremely knowledgeable on the instillation of chandeliers. He provided pricing on 3 different chandeliers. He asked to see pictures of our house and by looking at the pictures he was able to help us choose the right ones for our sloped ceilings. We recentlu bought 2 floor lamps from Jennifer S at the Oceanside location on Vista Way. She was amazing - not only did she help us with all the little details she went above and beyond. we ended up paying the floor model price for a brand new one because she discovered when boxing it up that the floor model did not meet her standards for quality due it having some scratches and loose parts.
