They are flexible on cleaners they use, giving us a choice between eco/allergy friendly solutions and also more traditional deeper cleaning options as needed. We are allergy-sensitive so being able to 'ask' for things to be cleaned in a couple different ways has been helpful. I don't think I am alone when I say that when I purchase a cleaning service deal, I am expecting a full cleaning. That just makes sense. But that is not what I got with this deal because only ONE person was sent to clean an entire residence in 3 hours. That is not good business or good management. At. All. The woman cleaned very thoroughly, but because she is only one person, she was only able to finish the kitchen and living room in 3 hours. She ended up working overtime to vacuum the rest of the place, but was unable to clean the bathroom. Nobody wins in this situation because we are left with a partially cleaned residence despite paying for a cleaning service, and an employee is overworked because she was sent on a one-person job meant for an entire team. I am incredibly disappointed and there needs to be a change in the way this deal is advertised or in the deal itself. Send an entire team to clean a residence. Make it a full cleaning instead of a timed cleaning. Nothing about the Groupon makes sense and is terrible business.

The fireplace extended to the ceiling and created mounds of dust. We tented the room in, but invariably as fine brick and mortar will do, seeped past the barrier and landed fine lime dust, everywhere. Additionally, we removed built in cabinetry in the living room and had to replace a lot of sheet rock. Again, the sanding of sheet rock mud dust went everywhere, regardless of the effort to tent in the job room. I have a reputation of returning a spotless jobsite following construction and Nancy's crew did not let me down! The house looked better than when my job started and my clients were thrilled. Bonus: They cleaned the bathroom. kitchen and laundry rooms too; spotless! Thank you Nancy, I have employed more than ten companies to clean up after construction and yours is the first that I would hire again!

I did a dust check in one of the rooms where I had shelves installed, no direct lights, but enough to see where everything is and to see the dust on my fingertips while standing in there. When I questioned her, she could hear the slight hesitation in my voice, so she said she cleaned it, I checked again and more confidently prodded. She went in and cleaned it, didn't do all of it and no ladder, completely HALF ASS. No wonder she was surprised I still tipped her 33%. It's the holidays. Good karma.

Emilia has personally come by my apartments to help determine the correct pricing for each time I have moved, and provided crews at extremely fair prices to do thorough move-in/move-out deep cleans when I've moved. She went above and beyond when I was incapacitated for a short time in an accident to make sure her staff were not just the basic services I was paying for, but also to have her staff assist me with household chores (changing bed linens, etc.) that I would have normally done but was unable to do. If you really want a clean home though, I'm sure you can find a company in the Bay Area that is more thorough and efficient. Their business practices are very concerning, though, so do NOT trust them with your home or money. When we were moving out, and they asked if we wanted them to clean our home one last time. We agreed and told them we were not paying anything more than our usual $125. They agreed, and we paid them $125 for their services the same day. Months later we were sent an invoice for services we never asked them to do and the charge was over 5X what we usually paid them despite the fact that we already paid them the $125 on the day they provided the service. It is standard business practice to negotiate a price before services are provided. It is unprofessional to slap people with a bill after the fact just because you feel like they owe you more money. I would never encourage anyone to do business with these women unless you have an estimate in your hand with details about the services they provide before they clean your home. Otherwise, they will do things you never asked them to do and charge you excessive amounts of money for it.

I was very happy a couple of years ago when I used this service, but I won't be using them again…read more I set up an appt via email and for the next week or so received several emails and text messages confirming time, date, terms, payment, name of cleaner, etc. I had a 12:00 start time, received a text at 11:10 that the cleaner was on their way. Two people (man and woman) showed up at 12:40, very late with no updates (they obviously had my contact info). I briefly explained a couple of things, the room they didn't need to clean and the floors were to have no water, chemicals, liquid, NOTHING, just swept. I explained this a couple of times and I heard the woman relay this info to the man. I said I would be available in a room, with the door open, would stay out of their way but to ask if they had questions or needed anything. Several hours went by and I then received a text message they were finished. I came out of a room and found the couple on my front porch, their equipment already loaded in their car. I knew, per the contract I had 15 mins to inspect, which I did. Things looked great until I went into the kitchen and found half of my kitchen floor all wet. I called the woman back in to show her. When I asked what happened, she just pointed to my kitchen sink. I asked why there was liquid when I specifically said no liquid, she just shrugged and said "no English". She went and got a dry mop, cleaned up the liquid. I asked to confirm the payment amount and she told me. That she understood. I paid them (I had a tip ready but decided against giving it) and they left. After leaving, I discovered that the seat of a chair in the kitchen was also wet. It is across the room from the sink. There needs to be a heads up if there is or could be communication issues and and ownership when a mistake is made and neither happened. I will be looking elsewhere in the future and will stop recommending this company.
