Came here on a friend's recommendation and it was a disappointment. The fairgrounds are big with a couple of indoor stadiums. After paying our $2, we walked into the first stadium and seen all the Alpaca scarfs and yarn for sale. They were selling the raw alpaca fibers, spinners and combs too.
We walked toward the center area and were surround by more alpaca yarns, snacks, plants and none alpaca scarfs. The other stalls were selling things from candy to those cheap leather wallets commonly seen at farmers markets.
We walked over to the stables and seen one where they had the alpaca competition. The people were friendly here, answering a lot of questions people had.
The next 2 stables were the sheep sheering and the sheep themselves. The sheering was kind of violent with some sheep bleeding afterwards. The stables for their competition was more interesting, seeing sheep with horns for the first time.
Looking around for food, I had only seen one stall selling lamb sausage sandwiches and this was Lamb Town? The biggest line was the one with the funnel cakes and Teriyaki Chicken. Even the food demo food tasted kind of bad. read more
