Does not have an appealing Entrance at all . A glass entrance door an some paint would help for starters. The rear patio area is really nice. It was a shame it was drizzle just enough to force so many things not being able to use one of the best parts of why they picked this site. Even if it was extra, having a canopy or tent available would have avoided so much moving around of everything from start to finish. Felt bad for the couple an 90 people there. They had to do so much work to make the interior so beautiful, then move - move- an move again. Just saying. Think about it.........

The space is incredible with the different areas as options for specific parts of the wedding or reception. Unfortunately, it also was dirty and greasy. Some examples: All the countertops were greasy and most of the available cookware and dishes were greasy, stained (that elbow grease removed) and/or had food remains on them. The vent in the room we had the rehearsal dinner in had thick black dust (maybe mold?) on it and the wall of windows were dirty inside and out. I had to ask an employee to pick food out of one of the trash cans, whose bottom was covered in black mold, before I could replace the trash bag. I emailed a more detailed list to Mr. Strunk and the venue and did get a response from Alexis that said "We will have a team meeting this week to discuss what we can do better with your review and revamp our in-house check list." I hope they do. Most of my concerns would not take a lot of time, money, or elbow grease to correct if they were completed on a regular basis. It seems as if there is no list of cleaning in preparation for an event. If there is, it isn't very comprehensive and/or the person responsible did not complete it. It wasn't until after the event that we saw the review of the venue that said a couple's meal was late because the caterers spent an hour cleaning the kitchen before beginning work. I want a venue with the same standards that that caterer had. This space is very cool, but the client should spend their time enjoying the event and not cleaning.

An array of oddities indeed and some interesting art/artists. Many items in formaldehyde jars, bones and furs used in creative and Macabre. Bar inside the venue has alcohol and coffee offering. Coffee for me. After going through the whole venue we went to check out the food area also available to us but not needed. Never knew they had this cafeteria. Nice place for all types of venues whether work or personal event, check them out.

Personally, my friends and I saw Little House's dance performance; it was wonderful! However, I will say that the three-story walk up (historic, narrow stairs included) was rough. Elevator exists, though. The space itself was beautiful and would be the perfect place for a regency ball. However, the seating layout (with four sections of chairs arranged in a square around the center stage) makes it awkward and disruptive if guests need to leave for any reason. Other than that, staff was friendly, the event was well run, and the space is stunning!

It is very well organized as it can take a couple of thousand passengers off a ship and load them up on busses in minutes! Plenty of things to see and do in the town as well that are a quick walk from the docked ship! So many things to love and dislike about this place…read more Great things: They have some amazing bands that play here. The venue is very relaxed and has a fun vibe. It's right on the water with great views. The food is pretty great cause it's all food trucks. They have plenty of bathrooms and they are super clean, with actually hand washing stations. Plenty of drink stations so you don't have to wait in line for that. They do Thursday and Friday on thompsons point when they don't have a concert, with free music and food trucks. Cons: The food truck lines are forever, they try their best but it's just too many people and not enough food trucks. Only a certain amount of people can bring chairs? Not sure why, so you end up leaving that and not being able to find it. PARKING, is the absolute worst and so expensive. There has to be a better way to do this and they charge so much. I know it's hard to get out of most concerts so this is a common issue but Thompsons point is by far the worst and the most expensive. Even with the parking though I'll continue to go to concerts/ other events here!

This hotel is within walking distance to many of the attractions and restaurants. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Nicole who was very friendly and helpful while checking me in. Luckily a room was available so I was able to get checked in right away (before 12pm). The lobby is very inviting with a living wall and off to the side was another seating area. When entering the room, is the open closet, dresser, safe and a mini refrig all in the same wall unit. Then to the left is the bathroom. The vanity area is an open area. Then the toilet and shower is in it's own room. The main room is very spacious with the king bed with a canopy, work area and a chaise lounge. The room was well lit with the large windows and the various lighting fixtures. The hotel offers a fitness center, which I did not use since I did a lot of cardio walking around the city. Along with couple restaurants, Salt Yard, located on the ground floor while the Luna Rooftop Bar is located on the 6th floor. With a great staff and great location, I would highly recommend this hotel.
