    We stumbled into Lambros today, looking for a specific looking cross necklace & chain. To tell the truth, I've never witnessed sooo many jewelry stores in one place with hard sellers! It is hard to know who to trust, and we lucked out with the actual jeweler here who gave us a fair price. Skip all the others and go straight to the source- goldsmith, designer & creator here at Lambros! Thank you for blessing me today on our visit to Juneau!

    I was looking for a whale tail charm and found the perfect one here! It's 14k gold with opals. They polished it and gave me $100 off. Yay!

    Lambros work

    Lambros, tongue in cheek aka "The Greek God", repaired my Black Opal between 11 am and 4 pm on July 3rd. This was incredibly important to me, and almost a miracle. I was on my 10 year anniversary cruise without my husband, who died suddenly and tragically the day after we booked the cruise. We both wore our Opal wedding rings, and after he died I had the Black Opal band I had bought him in Australia resized. The jewelers who did that damaged the stone. I was heartbroken! Thanks to Amina Amor from our Viking ship, my niece and I were put in touch with Lambros Goldsmith in our stop in Juneau. Lambros and Jamie at this store took me under their wing. And Lambros did NITHING else between 11 and 4 except to repair the stone and create a pendant and new stone in the gold band for me. Thank you! You are, indeed, a Greek God.

    We were on an Alaskan cruise and wandering the Juneau streets after a good hike up Mt. Roberts. We had passed the store earlier on our way up the mountain and the clerk had smiled and waved through the window and indicated we should return. So we did. My understanding is that the owner is an award winning jewelry designer with works on display at the smithsonian museum. There was quite a selection and the saleswoman indicated that they could custom design anything with a quick turnaround. I was not looking for a ring but I think my husband was feeling shopping happy much to my chagrin. I don't respond well to pressure and in all fairness it was coming just as much from him but with 2 people pressuring me I was a bit uncomfortable. I know I am an atypical female in this regard. Also I presume the prices were reasonable but hadn't really comparison shopped for a topaz "northern lights" ring so I can't say definitively. The owner sized the ring quickly and not only is the stone nice but the ring setting is cool.

I picked up a really nice rock for my collection. That was pretty cool. It is tailored to tourists. The shop is located downtown of Juneau and yes the store was very busy when we came. The staff was also very friendly as well. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend visiting this store.

I contacted the shipper insurance, the collect the statue and shipping contents, and Mt. Juneau Trading Company is no longer taking my calls. UPS says they settled the matter with Mt. Juneau Trading Company, and that I should call them for a solution. They are now not taking my calls. I was on a cruiseship and am also considering contacting the cruise ship company to lodge a complaint about Mt. Juneau Trading Company's business practices. I seek a refund or replacement. My calls are NO LONGER being answered. I expressed concern when I purchased the statue, about it breaking during shipping and KYLE TRIPP assured me it would arrive unbroken. I have spoken to the owner JACK TRIPP several times and have not been given a solution. Only delays. I hope they contact me and fix my problem. 780-709-4584. Summary of Events: $25,000 Rolex Purchase With Serious Issues During a Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas cruise, my wife and I purchased a $25,000 Rolex from Diamonds International in St. Maarten. Upon returning home to New York, I noticed a large red "Final Sale" stamp above my signature--something I was never informed of at the time of purchase. Consequently, I requested a lawful refund. Diamonds International assigned Ms. Caroline, Customer Experience Manager (Florida), to the case. Instead of resolving the issue, Diamonds International engaged in conduct that raises serious legal and ethical concerns: * Claimed to possess video evidence of the transaction * Refused to provide the video * Refused to supply legal-department contact information * Refused to engage in good-faith negotiations * Attempted to enforce terms I never agreed to This behavior is evasive, nontransparent, and inconsistent with good-faith performance under standard contract and consumer-protection law. Legal Analysis 1 No Contract Exists -- Lack of Mutual Assent Under U.S. contract law, a valid settlement requires mutual assent (both parties agreeing to the same terms). My clearly stated condition: "I will remove all social-media posts after the $25,000 refund is issued." Diamonds International's response: "Diamonds International does not agree to any modifications of the settlement agreement." Therefore: * No agreement exists * No contract was formed * Any claim of a "settlement" is legally void due to failure of mutual assent This is fundamental contract law. 2 Withholding Evidence = Bad Faith Conduct A company that claims to possess transaction evidence but refuses to produce it is acting contrary to: * The implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing * Fundamental principles of business transparency * Reasonable consumer-expectation standards * Standard dispute-resolution practices Such withholding raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of their internal processes. 3 Publicly Documented Pattern of Consumer Complaints Diamonds International holds a C+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), reflecting a documented pattern of complaints, including: * Misrepresentation of merchandise * Inflated pricing for inferior or misgraded items * High-pressure, aggressive sales tactics * Verbal promises later denied or contradicted * Failure to provide documentation or evidence * Resistance to lawful refund requests * Refusal to negotiate in good faith My experience aligns directly with this documented pattern.
