It's like walking in to a museum but better, because you can buy everything you see, if money is no object. Authentic Alaskan art, from totem poles to mammoth tusks, and anything in between. Hand carved stones, wood, walrus ivory and whale teeth, native masks & paddles, all by local artists. I was like a kid in a candy store. If you plan to visit Juneau, this place is a must!

Gunalcheesh! I love it lots! Thank you Andrew Tripp you did a wonderful job. (custom made bracelet)

Went to Juneau for a week my very first trip to Alaska. I had been looking all week for that one special souvenir for myself without any luck. Don't get me wrong there are so many beautiful things everywhere, but I was looking for that one special thing that said I finally made it to Alaska. Toward the end of my trip I ran into their booth at the Celebration art market I saw the most beautiful shark bracelet. Being Wooshkeetaan it caught my eye. Its amazing the difference from the stamped engraved tourist stuff to their work. The original bracelet I saw was a little bigger then I was looking for. They sent someone from their shop to hand deliver one they had in their shop they thought I might like. It was beautiful but didn't hit the spot. They told me to check out their store and see if I liked anything there. Checked out the store and believe me its amazing. I do professional native bead work so I have to admit I'm picky for what I'm shopping for. Anyway myself, friends, and family bought a lot of stuff from their shop by far the best shopping we did the whole trip. Some items were in other shops and we did notice a difference in price, but it is very important for us to support native owned business. Well back to the bracelet.... The staff knew that I was disappointed that I couldn't find anything like the bracelet I saw in the art market. They said they could custom make one for me. I jumped at the idea, but I wanted Andrew Tripp to make it since he made the original one I looked at. I offered him a hand sewn bag with medicine and am honored to have found him to make it for me. I got the bracelet and it is even more beautiful then I had imagined. It is worth every penny I love it. The bracelet is done with such care its as if a friend has personally crafted it just for me. I had the most wonderful trip to Alaska and I will always have this bracelet to remind me of it. Please do not be surprised when I'm ready to order something else all the way from California. Gunalcheesh!

Pretty native art work! I bought a pair of handmade boots and moccasins and love them! I get lots of complements on how bad-ass the boots are :) Pricey but well worth it. I also bought a shirt with native art work on it. There clothing is pretty awesome if you're looking for something rather than a cheap looking generic Alaska t shirt. The only complaint I would have is was on older woman was walking around and helping a guest and she was rudely talking to the man about what kind of fox skin he was looking at. She just chuckled in a smart ass way at him and talked to him like he was stupid. If she's going to be sassy then maybe she shouldn't work during the busy season with tourists. But other than that the staff was really friendly and I ended up spending $400 with them and walked away satisfied :)

It's a way to actually bring back a piece of the culture. We found this shop in our wandering and it didn't disappoint. In the place where the locals shop, we went in and found this stunning piece. It was a driftwood, ceramic, and metal hanging art piece. It had culture pieces from the area and was something we would love to have in our home year round. The staff there are knowledgeable, informed of shipping and the pieces they carry. Explaining a lot of how they have the selection they do. Even though they were busy she made us feel like we were important and not rushed. She also multi tasked like a fiend and assisted others while we thought over whether or not to ship. We decided to ship and the staff checked on the price which was very reasonable considering the size and fragility of the piece. We paid and waited for the item when we got home. In my rush I did not ask key questions or remember the answer to the questions I asked at the store. I blame the drink package. Well I messaged the store and the manager/owner was also helpful beyond the time difference and my randomness. Even though it takes effort to get there when we come back to Alaska I hope to see this shop there and if it's not in the same location I'm okay calling an uber to get taken there. 15/10. Highly recommend. When we got the package home it was wrapped beyond well. It was wrapped with the care that this person liked their job and wanted to do it well. The person who wrapped this saw that we picked something that we loved and needed it safely delivered home. Shop local.

I would have bought the set except I didn't want to lug it around the town then deal with stuffing it in my luggage on our cruise, and I'm too cheap to pay for shipping.

I specifically asked for at least one or more white lilies, her favorite. These are shown on their website under the Memorie bouquet. Not only were there NO lilies of any color, the bouquet looked smaller than their $70 Sympathie bouquet. I told them over the phone in April that the lilies were to be picked up by me upon my arrival and taken to my wife's final resting place and that my wife is a US Navy veteran that died by a disease the VA considers 100% service related who died June 29,2019. I consider the bouquet received to be a disrespect to my wife's memory and her service to our country for which she gave her life. I also consider it despicable that the bouquet delivered had any semblance to the bouquet I ordered. I responded to their request for review they emailed upon delivery and still have not received ANY reply from them a week later. I will never order from them again nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone.

This shop had some items at a good price some items at a high price a lot of items at average prices and well a typical staff from what I found traipsing all over in Alaska. Definitely a place that I stopped at right away when I got off of my cruise to check prices at and returned to get a couple of items at the end of the day that were cheaper here than elsewhere. Unlike some other reviewers I had no problem with the staff whatsoever. In fact I was given appropriate help with a smile so I am not sure what their issues were. I would stop here again, but only if I needed certain products and they had them at the right price for me. But swag shops are swag shops and they did have a huge selection here. So keep that in mind if you are Cruising the inside passage.
