I am dreading this review. Not because I don't want to sing the praises of Dr. Nordin, on the…read morecontrary, he is a great physician (hence the 5 stars) No, I am dreading this review for the simple fact that the more word gets out about Dr. Nordin, the harder it will be to make my annual appointment. I guess I am kind of a hipster when it comes to Doctors. Once I see a bunch of rich high school kids with Dr. Nordin's business card, I will probably go somewhere else (jk) So let's get down to brass tacks. What makes Dr. Nordin so special? After all a physical is a physical, right? Wrong. Rather than grab your walnuts, make you cough, then demand a 50 dollar co-pay, Dr. Nordin takes the time out to get to know his patients. Half my health questionnaire was about my hobbies and habits. These inquiries, however trivial, can give any GP a better view inside a patients daily routine and possible health problems that may underlie a daily routine. Literally the first 10 minutes of my physical was getting to know me as a person. I found this remarkable in the US internal medicine world where doctors are paid in quantity of patients and not quality of outcomes. We then went over my labs. Turns out my bad cholesterol was low but so was my good cholesterol. I promised I would eat more bacon. He recommend fish oil. Actually, I take that back, he didn't just recommend fish oil, he instructed me on the nutritional content of the best fish oils and which ones were rip offs. He also said to call his office if I had a question about a particular brand of fish oil. I also said I was having sleep problems and he got me an appointment with a pulmonologist in the same week. I am overweight but my labs are all great. Having seen this he didn't brow beat me for being overweight but rather said keep doing what you are doing. This was great because I can't stand being brow beat by medical professionals. I have lived in several different cities and Dr. Nordin is by far the best Dr. I have ever had. I highly recommend making him your GP.

I abhor this facility. Over the summer my daughter (from out of state) was training at a nearby…read morefacility under the medical watch of Froedert Clinic. After a week of their staff not taking her pain seriously, I demanded an MRI. She was taken to the clinic and diagnosed with a stress fracture. She was advised to wear a boot and would be evaluated after 10 days. Dr Young cleared her and advised she could proceed with progressive activities. No other consultation was advised other than if there was pain to stop. Upon returning to Arizona 4-weeks later, I took her in for a second opinion purely on a hunch to discover her original MRI indicated she had a GRADE 4 stress fracture and should have been in a boot for a minimum of 6-weeks!Never never should she have been out of the boot. Her new doctor was furious! This set her very critical training back weeks!!! Seven months later she is STILL trying to regain that precious time. I then received a nice fat bill. Fine, whatever. I was trying to work with her dad's secondary insurance when they eventually sent it to collections. No phone call no warning nothing. They claim they sent a final notice but I have absolutely no such documentation of that. A phone call could avoided that. Thanks Froedert you continue to impress me.

Was taking three different asthma medicines, two inhalers and surprise-purchasing a nebulizer (maybe tell your patients that the machine you're handing them is going to cost $249, when they could purchase the same thing online for around $40). After continuing to experience the same problems (sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), I finally demanded they give me a methacholine challenge to see if I really HAD asthma. No asthma. Just really bad GERD that's refluxing into my lungs. I'm in my early 30s. Even though I DO NOT have asthma, Dr. Dagar waited a month to get back to me (I messaged his team five times asking "Can I stop nebulizing and taking all these drugs, please?") to let me know that EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE ASTHMA, he wants to keep me on the medications for asthma, presumably to maintain collecting pharma kickbacks. Ridiculous. After the egregious amounts of money I've paid Froedtert, I guess I should expect them to try to keep sucking me dry.

Never answer the phone, never return phone calls or letters in bill payments sent by mail. They have not spelled their name correctly as it should read "Lose Sleep by being Victimized by this Institute of Theft." Not Good. The two star score, "Meh, I've experienced better" doesn't quite fit as the CPAP supply store situation is absolutely dismal in Southeast Wisconsin. Frankly, I haven't experienced better. But it is certainly not "A-OK" at the three star level. The CPAP2Go fiefdom rules from this castle (metaphorically, actually it's designed as a very peaceful serene garden like setting inside with an actual garden on the outside of the inside), but that doesn't mean there's any centralized organization. Their record keeping is regrettable. I usually go to the CPAP2Go location in Pewaukee even though it's a half hour drive for me from home because I have a part time job in the area and the CPAP supply choices in Milwaukee are horrifying. As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, when those of us who suffer from sleep apnea are considered more at risk, this location couldn't locate records from the Pewaukee location. They shut down the Pewaukee location temporarily. The result is to get supplies while we're not getting paid at our jobs is that they can't bill insurance from this location so we have to buy the life supporting replacement equipment on a credit card. I'm pretty sure this isn't even guileless corporate profiteering, it's just shoddy record keeping and poorly paid low level front line workers with no discretion allowed. The workers I've met here, like at Pewaukee have been nice, so that makes the place better than the dreaded Ho'Medical (what a name, do only sluts with breathing problems shop there?" or CPAP SnoreNoMore ( THE WORST) where they aren't even polite. The place is really nice, it's one of the most pleasant waiting rooms I've ever waited in. But for the love of Mike I don't know why it's so hard to just keep proper records of long-term regular patients and get into a routine of billing insurance properly, pandemic or not. For some of us, these are life or death conditions.

Staff unfriendly. AND YOU CAN NEVER REACH THEM BY PHONE. They never call you back. Study was done in November 2019. Got the bill months later with no breakdown as to the charges: what insurance paid. After 2 weeks of calling finally got statement in March 2020. Paid in full. It's 4/22 and I constantly get phonecalls/mailings - that bill is overdue. Called them twice - no response. I am mailing them a copy of my bank statement along with a letter. Also reporting them to the State. I'd NEVER recommend this place. Absolutely horrible.
