He is extremely thorough, patient, informative, friendly and professional. In today's healthcare world, where can you find a Doctor that takes the time to return phone calls personally, call you personally with all test results, and severely limit the amount of vacations and weekends off call he takes each year, simply to be available to his patients? His office staff are wonderful with zero turn over in the last five years I have gone. Everyone remembers who you are and they don't even need to ask who you are or why you're there. Dr. Kim has returned every message I have left for him within the day, and all personally too. During delivery of my first child he was very calm, very patient and helped me to be at ease and deliver a healthy baby boy. It was no question when I found out I was pregnant again four years later, that I would continue with him as my OB, regardless of the long distance I have to travel in order to get there. I feel extremely confident with him has my doctor. He takes the time to answer all questions and has not once made me feel as though I couldn't ask him any question, no matter how trivial or redundant. I have never waited to get into an appointment at my scheduled time and have never had any issue with being able to quickly schedule an appointment. His solo practice is one of the last in the area and I am grateful that I have an OB that has dedicated so much time and effort into serving his patients personally.

The office was very disorganized, didn't seem to want to guide me during the externship. God help anyone who is considered too skinny or too heavy in the medical staffs' eyes. They made fun of the student. They were not accommodating. The Medical assistants talked behind the patients' back and made fun of the poor patients. I got yelled at for reassuring patients and even lied about it on documentation. The unprofessionalism and arrogant heartless behavior ran rampant in St. Lukes caring for women. I suggest a complete overhaul of this swamp and actually hire, and train honest to goodness, knowledgable, professional, and caring medical assistants, PAs, NPs, doctors, etc. I feel sorry for the poor patients that have endured the lack of care and empathy from these goons called medical professionals at St Lukes caring for women.

They really do their best to accommodate to their patients and will happily reschedule if you can't wait! I've never felt like they didn't care or that I was having a problem that was too small to call about! Just high praise from me! I do wish all the toys in the waiting room weren't broken, but that has nothing to do with the care I receive and this place TOTALLY deserves 5 stars!

Also, she made me very uncomfortable and my first pelvic exam hurt because of her. I immediately switched to Dr. Mann right after this. My biggest regret is not speaking up sooner. She is loud and rude-has no sense of empathy given she's been a doctor for decades.

I was extremely disappointed and upset with the poor medical treatment I received at this facility…read more I was 15 weeks pregnant and starting cramping with extreme pain. I went into the office for an emergency visit; I was seen promptly. However, once I was medically observed by Dr. McDermott she stated that there was a high probability that my body aborted the fetus; that I would have to go get blood work to confirm fetus status. I asked if something could be prescribed for the pain because it was becoming unbearable and what to expect over the course of the next few days. She said to go home and take a hot shower; they would call with the results. Dr. McDermott sent me home with 3 Motrin's. I called repeatedly for 3 days with no answer due to office closing early or they were out to lunch. I was in so much pain and now I was bleeding heavily (it was scary the things that were coming out of me). I went to the hospital and they expressed how poor my care and after care of my miscarriage was handled before arriving. I had a prenatal appointment prior to this incident that was scheduled two days later and figured I would still keep the appointment to seek aftercare advice and treatment. I showed up to the office and they CANCELED my appointment without my knowledge (because they assumed since I lost the baby I would not be attending my appointment). I was so emotionally upset and confused and still in so much pain ... I wanted answers and the receptionist said "sorry" but your appointment was canceled. POOR medical care and the emotional neglect of someone who lost her child is inexcusable!!!! I still have not received a call from the office regarding my blood work
