Honestly I would of recommend this place a few years ago when I first started seeing my doctor here. Overtime the staff has become extremely difficult to work with. It's hard to get through to anyone and seems like nobody answers the phone. Voicemail box is usually full so you can't leave a message. Online appointments are difficult to manage the program they use often prevents you from moving along and you have to call to get it fixed. Doctors are often running behind. I've become more frustrated with this practice and wish I had more options in the area for care. read more

Hands down the best place to get an abortion. Abortions are such an uncomfortable topic and having to experience it is scary. The Allentown Women's Centers made me nothing but comfortable, as soon as I walked in Its warm and inviting. They didn't over schedule so the wait time was nothing, you were seen immediately. The ultrasound tech was such a sweet women, and made me comfortable with my decision. The doctor was amazing, he made it his top priority to make me comfortable and feel safe. I didnt feel any pain whatsoevrr before, during or after the procedure. I was so used to feeling pain throughout the whole abortion process when I went to plan prenthood before (had two abortions beforehand through them and it was a nightmare and made it so much more of a traumatic experience then it had to be) that I thought it was normal and I was expecting that this abortion but was surprised to learn that it isn't natural to be in extreme Pain the whole time. If you are going to have to get an abortion without a double spend the little bit extra money you won't regret it. you will definitely be in good hands here. read more

Y'all, this is the most supportive, thorough, kind, and caring facility I have ever been to and I am beyond happy they are local. I have been faithful to Planned Parenthood for years when it comes to all my birth control needs, and after being on the arm implant (nexplanon) for a year and a half, I had to discontinue it due to the side effects, which left me up in the air in terms of avoiding unwanted pregnancies since when I expressed to the clinician that I wanted an IUD, she told me that my cervix was too tight last time they had tried to insert one years ago and thus most likely would result in the same circumstance again. Needless to say, I was discouraged, so I decided to give this place a shot since discovering that they carry all sorts of IUD types. Everyone who attended and worked with me was so beyond caring and when I told them my worries about us not being able to go through with inserting an IUD, I was assured that, as long as I was not in too much pain, they would try their best to get the thing in. I was so worried the procedure would fail, and I was literally shaking from nerves and how much pain I was in and the ladies were so informative and supportive and kind with easing my nerves. They kept telling me how good I was doing and letting me know what steps they were about to do next so that I was prepared for it. I walked out with the IUD inserted! Yay! I was even given a pamphlet with thorough information on the device. My experience with this facility has been phenomenal. I am so thankful for what they do to support women's health. read more

AWC was absolutely amazing. During a very emotional and scary time, they were informative and wonderfully kind. Every person I spoke to was comforting and positive. The care was exceptional. The one thing I will say is when they say the waiting time can be 2-3 hours, they mean it. Though I still think they were great because they honestly told me there was going to be a waiting time. I researched a lot before going to AWC and I'm very happy with the choice I made. They're a secure, positive, and overall wonderful facility. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I went for a surgical abortion... they did not numb me or give me anything for pain... then I had to return a few days later. Apparently my cervix had completely closed and my uterus was filling up with blood. I understand that accidents like this happen, but this is when everything took a turn for the worst... 2 days after the re-evacuation... I was sent to the hospital by ambulance... screaming, doubled over in pain... they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me... The following day I went by ambulance.... come to find out i had a tear in my uterus and was bleeding internally. Allentown women's Center are a bunch of butchers. Doctors told me i'm lucky to be alive... I will NEVER EVER refer anyone there EVER. read more

Excellent Service! Staff was very friendly and understanding. Everything is kept confidential and you are treated like a human being. They take the time to talk to you and are truely caring and are there to help. Deffinitely would recommend to anyone who is going through any women's issues this is deffinitely the place to go if your confused or scared or not sure what to do. I'm so glad I went to AWC instead of a Planned Parenthood.. The staff worked with me and helped me to be sure of my decision. They rotate between patients so you're never in the waiting room for a long time. I felt very comfortable at AWC and I would recommend any woman to go there no matter what the situation is. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first person I saw (an ultrasound technician) was kind of rude and insensitive to my anxiety of being probed.. but all of the other staff I would give 5/5. read more

I don't know if I have ever had a GYN visit where every single staff person made me feel like my comfort truly mattered to them. The paperwork even asks for preferred name and pronouns! Front desk staff, nurses and the doctor all took their time and made sure I felt welcome and safe. I have pelvic pain, and the doctor used the smallest speculum I have ever seen, for what has probably been the least painful exam I have ever had. I did not feel rushed by the doctor. He asked a lot of questioned, looked over previous labwork and in general there wasn't that sense of being rushed that I typically get with doctors. The doctor and nurse were able to do an onsite transvaginal sonogram and bloodwork, saving me time! It would have been two additional trips/appointments to make to labs and imaging services from my usual GYN. Additionally, my veins are difficult to draw; One nurse acknowledged it would be difficult, she found the best person in the building so they wouldn't continuously stab and dig until they hit blood. That person got it on the first try. I am so so happy to find a group that is so accepting and comforting. read more
