He knows what he's doing, knows many styles and techniques, and charged me a fair price. His office is a bit tricky to find - go in the glass doors to the right of Chik-Fil-A, and take an elevator to the 5th floor. Long version: I got off my plane in London stiff and sore. Walked into Adam Lamb's quirky, stuffed animal lamb-filled office with debilitating back pain that worsened with every sneeze during the peak of pollen season, and walked out on my way to a recovery that happened so much more quickly than I had foreseen when I was pretty much crying from the pain just earlier that morning. Like so many others during the pandemic, a combination of sitting hunched over a computer for hours on end and not walking around very much had caused an inflamed disc in my back that I then exacerbated during a workout, and the pain was something like I had never experienced before. I had been seeing another chiropractor for twice a week adjustments for months, but the pain came roaring back. Adam kept it completely real with me-- that I had likely caused permanent damage to my disc, but that it didn't mean I had to make any permanent changes to the things I enjoyed doing, like my daily HIIT/pilates routine. He explained exactly what would cause additional pressure to my spine and suggested ways to counter that pressure everyday, particularly after my workouts. I've adapted these stretches and exercises into my routine and it's been several months without back pain for me. I also incorporated turmeric supplements and magnesium into my daily vitamins on his recommendation and I feel that it's made a huge difference for me as well. Dr. Lamb is also incredibly personable, and kept it light and goofy while he adjusted me and also laid me on this wild contraption he had in his office called an inverter, which flipped me upside down and lightened the weight that my spine was experiencing from daily weight lifting. He let me know what was happening every step of the way and even tried some laser therapy to help me out. He told me what I should eat for reducing inflammation and some vitamins to take. I was in town for a cruise and had pulled my back. I called three different places who said it would be $250-350 and they couldn't get me in until the next day. Dr lamb got me in within an HOUR! Over the phone I was told it was $100 for first time visit (when I was paying he told receptionist to give me the regular price instead of the newbie price. That seemed odd unless he raised his prices for newbies and didn't tell her) He cracked literally everything on my body from fingers to elbows to shoulders to back/hips to ears (because I told him I experience vertigo from time to time). He was really refreshing to talk to and friendly. The office is small and the entrance is tricky to find. They are doing construction at street level so you have to walk through that (door is beside chick-fil-a) and go up elevator. Seems like a sketchy place but it's legit. He's good-You won't regret going there. He has a lot of "regulars" it seems so that's a good sign. read more

Cool dude, didn't try to force me to come to another appointment. Gave me free magnesium supplements to eat while I was there because I was in crazy muscle neck pain. I recently came in with lower back pain after tweaking my back at work. I was barely able to walk correctly due to the pain before coming in. I got a shiatsu massage from Abe-san that helped, and afterwards I got an alignment from Dr. Lamb. Lamb Chiropractic came to my by way of a recommendation from my old chiropractor in San Diego, and it didn't disappoint. It was exactly what I needed in a chiropractor. I suffer from a sciatica issue, and when the pain gets a little too much to bear, a quick lower body adjustment is usually just the thing to get me back on track. I'm not much into frills when it comes to procedures like these, and you won't find many here. It's a tiny, laid back studio that doesn't so much try to wow you with their Pinterest approved decor, but with their efficient operation. You'll be in and out and feeling better in the span of 10 minutes. Dr. Lamb is also a comfortable guy to be around. Not stuffy at all, and you'll feel relaxed sharing what ails you. He actually diagnosed my issue without any x-rays and turns out the ortho said he was right on! Also gave me the best tips that would help. I would continue if he took my insurance but they don't..Although I think he will charge only $40 without insurance. The massage from the Japanese guy was AMAZING. Wow, wow, wow. I was a bit nervous about needing to find a Chiropractor in NYC, but after my experience at Lamb Chiropractic I'm delighted. The yelp deal worked fantastically. I paid $40 for an evaluation, 20 minute massage and adjustment - great value. I was able to get an appointment the same day that I purchased the coupon and scheduling was a snap over the phone. The office space is small, which results in the waiting room and treatment area being in the same space. For many, this might be awkward, but Dr. Lamb turns this potential minus into a big positive with his warm personality and genuine interest and care in his patients. Evaluation and treatment were quick but not rushed and very competent. He did a comprehensive treatment that not only addressed my specific complaints, but aligned the rest of me as a preventative measure. Some Drs. charge more for additional adjustments, zones, or "leave that for next time: but Dr. Lamb did all he could to set me right. At no point did he high pressure sale or even suggest that I needed to come back for additional adjustments. The Shiatsu massage was nice, and they worked hard to fit me into a tight schedule, which I appreciated. Dr. Lamb wasn't the first Chiropractor I've been to but I did appreciate his service. I have visited another Chiropractor before and I didn't appreciate his over pushiness very aggressive style, easy boy easy. Anyway I had a Yelp deal for Dr. Lamb which also came with a massage prior to the adjustment, it was firm yet supportive. I will return when I need to. I only go to Chiropractors when I want to, and Dr. Lamb was cool about that idea. The other guy I mentioned was not he wanted to adjust me with some frequency I don't believe this is healthy, go when shit ain't getting better. I had a neck injury, i'm okay, but I thought it would resolve it's self eventually, well it was months and it was still bothering me. I would give Dr. Lamb's Chiropractic a solid 4.5 stars! Dr. Lamb has to be one of the nicest chiropractors with a great personality in Manhattan and his practice is very conveniently located within a 3-min walk from Grand Central station. I have been treated at his very cozy practice a few times and I walk out always feeling the tension being released after each adjustment! He really puts all his patients at ease and has great communication skills. The best thing is that he charges $40 for each adjustment/visit without insurance and also shows you invaluable exercises to do in your own time to help get his patients on the path to being and feeling better in the long run! There is also a message therapist , Abe-san, that works with Dr. Lamb in the same office. Abe-san does shiatsu massage at reasonable prices(an extra $20 add on for 20mins with an adjustment) and I found the massage pretty good. I guess it's a nice treat before or after an adjustment if you can afford to do so. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lamb for chiropractic treatments and would give it a glowing five stars if he can offer some special packages for multiple visits for patients who wish to come regularly but are on a tight budget! read more

I've been to about five chiropractors total in my life, with results ranging from completely worthless to excellent. I can safely say that Lamb is the best. And what's funny, he's actually the most reasonably priced. More often than not there is no wait, so you go in, he tunes you up, and you're on your way. He knows his techniques, unlike the last practitioner I went to who would lean on me from every direction for nothing and then charge me $60. As others pointed out, he is a very nice guy, although me personally, I couldn't care less if I get cursed out in the office as long as my back feels better afterward. I pay for spinal adjustment, not personality (although obviously friendliness is always a plus). Bottom line, if you need a real chiropractor, he is the dude. read more

By far the best thing I have found on Yelp next to my awesome IKEA guy. I was nervous about finding the right type of Chiro in NYC. Having come from a Holistic "Wellness" Chiro in FL, I had hoped to find a similar practice here. Lo and behold, Dr Lamb.. His office is very centrally located (right across from Grand Central) and has great hours in the evening for 9-5ers like me. He is very friendly, listens and explains with sincerity and is overall very trustworthy. I like his "open room" way of practicing and the fact that you feel like you are family while there. This guy is the cats keyboard! Straight and simple, one of the best chiropractors I've ever seen. I used the YELP $40 deal and got an amazing 20 minute Shiatsu massage followed by a full adjustment, including some specific post adjustment exercises. At no time did he seem concerned whether or not I would be a returning patient. His focus was primarily on my immediate care. I could see why this place has good reviews... Mr. Lamb has good energy. But it was a weird and shocking experience for me. Here's why... Mr. Lamb asked if it was my first time and I said yes. Before he start, Lamb notifed me "I may get better or feel nothing or my condition can get worse - and that "he doesn't care". I was shocked to hear the "doesn't care" part, but I continued anyway because I've been wanting to try it for a long time. After my session to him, walking to subway home, i still couldn't get out of my head his comment to me and I wonder why the good reviews on yelp. I kinda knew already though at the back of my head that people in the medical field are just humans doing their job to help what they can... but do they really have to tell me that "they don't care". I feel superb! I used the $40 Yelp deal - 1hr massage + chiropractic adjustment. The shiatsu massage (by Chie) and the overall atmosphere is really nice/welcoming/relaxing. There are 2 rooms, one is a dimly lit massage room and the other is a larger, blue-walled, lamb-lined* (more info below) chiropractic + miscellaneous room. MASSAGE: Chie has a calming, relaxing energy. Her shiatsu massage includes some reiki. I felt very soothed by her. She was very attentive, even after the massage while Dr. Lamb was readjusting me bones. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR CHIE WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT! CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT: Dr. Lamb has a fun energy which carries over to his fellow patients waiting on the sidelines, whether it be on a chair with massage tools, standing on the vibration machine (to loosen things up) or even getting adjusted by him. I used the Yelp deal today for a first-time consultation, adjustment and shiatsu. I will be going back! I've been going to chiro regularly since 2008 and have seen a variety of chiropractors with equally varied results. Lamb Chiro stands up with the best of them in my experience. I would recommend Lamb to anyone new to chiro because of the excellent bedside manner and quality work. And, since I'm more of a "regular," I'd recommend Lamb to anyone new to NY looking for a good Chiro. I know how hard it can be to find one. Other reviewers have complained about the small office. I had been to two other chiropractors before finding Dr. Adam Lamb. Search is ovah! I am very happy with the initial meeting. Dr. Lamb has a very reassuring and comfortable demeanor. After my "intake" paperwork was filled out (minimal - 2 mins tops!), he suggested that I first take my 20 mins Shiatsu massage with Ryo Abe, since he was available and expected it to get much busier later in the afternoon. Dr. Lamb checked to make sure I was experienced and knew what to expect. Yep, 30 yrs of every kind of massage you can imagine. Let me tell you, I want to see Ryo Abe for a full hour! Yes, please! He was more in tune with my pressure points and more deliberate than other Shiatsu I have had before, checking to make sure I could take it. I could! Then Dr. Lamb and I had a nice long chat. I could tell this was a professional who was knowledgeable and caring. He proceeded to snap, crackle and pop me in ways and places ... I never knew it could be so good! I (heart) Lamb Chiro :) I've been to a chiro once my whole life. It turned me off so much that was my first and last! lol Dr. Lamb is the most gentle and sweet Chiropractor I've been to. He is not pushy, doesn't try to sell you anything. He genuinely cares for his patients. Most Dr. office I go to is so stuffy and depressing but Lamb Chiro has cute little lambs from all around the world with bowls of kisses chocolate I cannot stop eating... I came to Dr. Lamb with a groupon and WOW was it a steal! Firstly, the shiatsu massage I received was AMAZING!! The massage room is very peaceful-it smells good, has relaxing music playing in the background, and has beautiful origami swans on the walls! The lady who massaged me was strong (In a very good way!) and she when I was finished, I felt perfectly ready for the chiropractic portion. Dr. Lamb was fantastic. He's really friendly and GOOD. I told him to please crack whatever he could, and he went to town! I went in because I had really bad neck tension and I felt like a new woman when I walked out. (And it felt even BETTER the next day!) I also liked that he didn't pressure me to come back. (Even though I will!) I found Lamb Chiro through their Groupon deal, and am so glad I did! It is really difficult to find a good chiro, but Dr. Lamb is great. Other chiros I have been to have been super pushy which I hate, but Dr. Lamb is very chill and super friendly! And of course his adjustments are great. I came in with a really bad neck/shoulder ache but after the first session it felt right back to normal, and the second session cleared up any remaining achiness. He also showed me some stretches to do for my neck. He does chat with you and others in the waiting room during adjustment sessions but I didn't mind that at all, it's nice and relaxing! read more

Dr. Lamb is truly God send. I've been his last patient for close to 3 years now and he's the best. He is passionate about his practice, educates his patients and encourages all to ask questions.
