We had little to no hope since it was late Saturday night and needed service on Sunday. These guys not only responded right away (at 9pm Sat, wow!), they offered the lowest rates - they really wanted to help. They showed up as scheduled the next day and started moving right away. The 2 movers were extremely efficient AND careful. We really appreciate that they didn't complain about anything and also figured out a way to navigate thru narrow passages with heavy items - without making a dent or scratch. The only thing we regret was not contacting them sooner and choosing them as our original movers. We can't say enough nice things and HIGHLY recommend Orlando Express Movers. I called them up a couple of weeks ago. They did a virtual walk through with me and gave me a fair price. I checked the price against 3 other larger companies. Theirs was the best. On the day of packing, the crew showed up and got right to work. They were super Excellent. They returned the next day to actually move my things to my new home. They showed up with a crew 2x the size of the packing crew and got the job done....door to door...in just under 7 hours. I was extremely impressed with the speed and professionalism and respect that they showed me and my family. It was cool that a lot of the crew had military ties. If I have to move again, I will be contacting Sebastian.

There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

This was my third time hiring College Hunks Hauling Junk, and unfortunately it will be my last…read more During the move, one of the movers failed to remove a footer from a chair before moving it and punched a hole in the drywall. They also damaged a door. The movers acknowledged responsibility at the time and told me it should be a simple claim to resolve after the move. That was not my experience. Once I submitted the claim, I encountered delays, stalling, and ultimately a refusal to fairly address the damage. The company attempted to rely on a liability limitation applicable to items damaged during transit, even though my claim involved damage to my home caused while their movers were performing services. I explained that distinction and that the damage resulted from the mover's failure to properly follow procedures, but the company refused to reconsider its position. They also attempted to unilaterally "close" my claim based on an internal deadline. More concerning, when I asked for the legal name of the company operating under the College Hunks name--not merely the DBA--I was not provided that information. I also requested the (1) company's Florida moving license/registration information and (2) insurance information, I was not provided that either. This resulted in the loss of my security deposit and footing a substantial bill due to their mistakes, and they refused to make it right. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that customers look elsewhere.

I used Minute Men Movers from my move in Titusville FL. I informed the consultant that everything…read morein the house would be going in to storage & staying there for around 10 months for our new home was being built. The consultant told me within the $695 price (which ended up being a lot more) I would be keeping the blankets, wrap & boxes, etc, for my items wouldn't be unwrapped & in storage. I specifically asked her if her movers deal with "hutch" furniture because this piece was especially expensive & special. She assured me her movers handle those pieces all the time. When the two movers (who were from Orlando with a different moving company truck) were done packing the truck, we ALL discovered they had broke a pipe un hooking my washer & put a hole in the bedroom wall moving furniture. They apologized & told me to call the consultant back & she would walk me through the claims process. Next day I called the consultant & she emailed me the claims process & told me if I need to call a plumber to do so until the claim was processed & to send pictures of both damages. I did & NEVER heard back from anyone! 10 months later, I had another company move my belongings out of storage in to my brand new house in Melbourne. While moving my belongings with the movers, WE discovered my dryer was cracked, my stereo system was cracked & the glass in my hutch was shattered! I called the same number from last April, 321-567-1001 & I was completely disrepected. The second I mentioned the word damages an obnoxious man who WOULDNT tell me his name & told me he was the manager/corporate, told me he wasn't going to do anything about this & then proceeded to tell me my new movers or I must have damaged my belongings. He also swore & cussed at me! This was the most disrespectful & unprofessional phone call from a "business" I have ever engaged in! I left a lot out about the conversation, but it was just more vulgarities & unprofessionalism on his behalf. So besides the damages to my belongings by HIS movers, minutemen, I honestly was just calling for clarity & awareness. Do NOT use this company in that area or that 321 #. He even answered the 1800-676-1252 # from the website & when I called he proceeded again to lash out at me when he saw my # on caller id. Shame on him & I will write this review on every local minutemen review board so I can warn other people.
