There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge. They were are to schedule quick service on a weekday and were right on time.

I confirmed the move last week and was good to go for today. I was told that movers would arrive between 10:30-11:00 am. When the movers didn't arrive at 11 I called and tried to get an estimate on arrival. I was told that they were behind from a previous move and that they'd be finishing up soon. It was getting closer to 1 and I called again. This time I was told they would be there between 2-3 and no later than that time and that I could get a discount. Fast forward to after the 3 o'clock time. I called back and got a rude man on the end of the phone. I simply asked when the movers would be there because I had been waiting since 10:30 am for someone to show up. He argued with me and told me that I had an afternoon move scheduled and that I would just need to wait until they got here. I continued ask for a time as it had been already 6 hours since the scheduled time. It was then that he told me that he wasn't doing business with me and that I was ungrateful and that he was canceling the move. I had asked him to please not do that and then he hung up on me! Horrible business. I reported the company to the better business bureau and filed a complaint. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Beware and don't trust the name - Florida family movers. It's a horrible business and not family oriented at all.

I also was moving to another city 100 miles away and there was an accident which added an extra 1.5 hours of which I was fully charged. Because of the movers tho, I did not dispute the extra cost.
