    Small move with a lot of miscellaneous stuff. Move was efficient and quick. Micah and Rashead did a great job.

I noticed what seemed to be dripped ice cream down the front of the fridge and opened the freezer (barely bc I immediately closed it shut from the stench!) to find it had broken and was horridly disgusting. I immediately called around to see if I could order a quick replacement fridge and haul away, but nothing was less than 2 days out and we didn't want the fridge sitting there in disgust waiting for a new fridge replacement. Thanks to Google one of the options for haul away in our area was Handy Arms Moving Services. I'm so thankful that I chose to call them. He advised they typically have a minimum 2-hour rate but given we just needed a single appliance haul away he would work with us. We're so glad that Jonathan said yes they could help and that he could come immediately.. Seriously.. he jumped in the truck and came immediately to our rescue. Jonathan and his son were extremely nice and professional. They immediately provided their ETA once we provided our address, and they provided another update when 5 minutes away. I highly recommend them for any haul-away or moving needs. I would certainly use them again!

But the company is only getting 3 stars from me because Lupe (one of the managers) was a pain to work with. Unprofessional tone, calling mid-move to give me updates even though the guys were already there doing the job, and my favorite part was that she tried charging me for 3 men (when I only asked for 2) but 3 showed up. That's not my problem you don't know how to properly delegate work. You either have 3 work for the price of 2, or figure it out before you come but don't call the customer and try telling me I have to pay for 3 when the contract clearly says 2, and then don't get belligerent with me because I'm annoyed you're wasting my time because you screwed up. Lupe also charged me for 4hrs and was adimant I pay for 4hrs (when it was a 3hr minimum) and then didn't even put a refund through. I had to call their customer service and work with a rep to get the refund. God forbid you charge for the 3hrs and then go from there. Anyway, the movers slayed but the management gets a no from me.

To help the process, I even sent a video of the remaining items to both the sales representative and the manager so everyone knew exactly what needed to be picked up. My partner was told by Anh that the crew would arrive sometime Monday afternoon. When the afternoon came and no one showed up, I called the director to ask for an estimated arrival time. He told me they were unloading the truck and would come afterward. Hours passed with no communication. We didn't receive a return call until around 7:30 p.m., when we were told they were still unloading the truck and would not be coming. During that conversation, Anh seemed to have no understanding of the difference between afternoon and evening. He also told us that because this was a "free" revisit, we were not a priority. That statement alone speaks volumes about how this company values its customers and stands behind its mistakes. When we asked if they could come directly to us the following day, we were told no because they had other customers to take care of. The conversation then shifted to blaming us for not loading heavy furniture into the truck ourselves. That is completely unreasonable. We left those items because the movers specifically instructed us to, and given that they had already worked an incredibly long day due to poor scheduling and management, I understand how the items could have been accidentally overlooked. I do not blame the movers. They worked extremely hard and remained professional throughout a very difficult day. The responsibility lies entirely with management. From poor planning and broken promises to a lack of communication, dismissive attitudes, and blaming the customer for the company's mistakes, every interaction with supervisors has been disappointing. This has been, without question, the worst moving experience I have ever had. The moving crew deserves recognition for their hard work, but the supervisors and management have demonstrated little professionalism, accountability, or customer service. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. This version is more likely to be taken seriously by potential customers because it is factual, detailed, and distinguishes the hardworking movers from the management failures.
