I asked him exactly 3 questions... on the third question, he loudly stated that he would just put refused and combative on this delivery and walked out. He then lodged an online complaint. That complaint was apparently enough to terminate my Director's position without being able to defend myself, speak on my behalf, or comment. The site is dirty, most of the staff are clueless outside of their niche positions, and leadership is not supportive or caring. While in my tenure many students and staff complained about the lackluster and dying company, no support from leadership, and the absence of the owner.

We spent the hour going over very specific, helpful feedback he had for me (related to hand position, gesturing, speech volume, and marking up the written content that'd be on the teleprompter), and I was so amazed at how much better I felt about how I'd do in the filming after just one hour of working with him. The filming itself the following week went fantastic; I felt prepared, confident, and so much more natural in front of the camera than I had previously. When he arrived he had our AED installed much quicker than I expected. He showed me some features of the install and was on his way! A few weeks after the install, Stanley came and taught a CPR/AED/First Aid class to several of us in the office. He was very knowledgeable and was patient with all of our questions. He also made sure our certifications came through immediately. Like within 20 minutes of finishing the class! Overall, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism of this company.

But when I finally got my first experience with my actual instructor, who I believe the name of was Derrick, I was disgusted. He would have his phone out, looking at it with an earbud in, WHILE WE WERE DRIVING. This was completely unprofessional. You want to know what else was unprofessional? When he reached into my friends' pocket to take his phone out to turn off his alarm. He was also extremely rude to us and made us do many more small things that were not necessary. His way of teaching was terrible and completely unhelpful. And he also hated belts or something because every time he stood up his pants would fall almost all the way down. Which is probably why he put a mat under where he sat, that was absolutely disgusting and would shake it out. He shouted at my friend for no reason, he was terrible. I could go on. But you know what else? My friend's parents and mine both called the owner, Mike, to complain about this TWICE. And after Mike said he would give us a new instructor, me and my friend arrived the next day to find that untrue. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was extremely anxious and in danger of crashing when driving with him, and temporarily had driving PTSD after my lessons. This man should be fired.

Students will also be recognized as having the finest training available anywhere and parents can be proud and grateful that they are receiving a training that is not only technically excellent but also anatomically caring and correct so as to not damage their young bodies in any way. Sadly, many students are not cared for to this degree and incorrect training can ruin dreams and chances for a future career when individual bodies and range of motion are not taken into account.
