On the day I went, there were several designers working and only 2 customers in the store. Neither employees were wearing masks and both were coughing ferociously. As 1st impressions go and as someone who has tried to go here a few times but barely miss their closing hours, I was looking forward to adding things to my home from this establishment. Customer service is a big plus with me and a quick smile or " Can I help you " means alot to me as a consumer . (2 stars for the beautiful items inside 1 star for the customer service.) Also, if you have allergies or possibly Covid , wearing a mask might be considered important as an employee since customers who see you coughing furiously may decide to exit the store .

I'm a frequent Pottery Barn customer and have a Pottery Barn credit card. I purchased an item at the Highland Village location last week and needed to make a return. The item still had the tags attached, so I stopped by the Town & Country store to return it. The associate assisting me appeared to be new and went to get another employee. The second employee immediately asked for my receipt. I explained that I didn't have it but that my purchase should be easily accessible through my Pottery Barn account and credit card. She responded by telling me she could not help me without a receipt. I then asked if Angela, the store manager, was available because I had never experienced an issue making a return before. I was told she was conducting an interview. Even after explaining that I was a regular customer with an account and credit card, the employee continued insisting that a return could not be processed. Only after further discussion did she ask whether I had an email address associated with my account. I provided it, and within moments she was able to locate the purchase and process the return--exactly as I had originally explained could be done. What disappointed me wasn't the return itself--it was the attitude. The interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative from the start. A simple, courteous approach would have resolved the situation in less than a minute. Customer service isn't just about processing transactions. It's about how customers are treated. Whether someone has a receipt or not, there are respectful ways to communicate and assist. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Thankfully, the return was ultimately completed, but the experience left me wondering why something so simple had to become so unpleasant. Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to the Town & Country location. I will continue shopping at Pottery Barn, but I will take my business to other stores where customer service is a priority.

Making something old that you have in home look new is their specialty. They even have some wonderful finds of 70s antique chairs that have been redone to feel as soft as a baby labradoodle. Prices are what might find in Memorial but if willing to splurge a little can really find some unique pieces or redo some of what you already have at home.
