Yummy food. Bad service. Not worth the prices. I first found this place from their food truck. Their chicken and steak tacos are great. I ordered take out from their restaurant and was told 15-20. I show up 20 mins later. The hostess confused my order big time and it wasn't even put in to the kitchen when I arrived. What's the point of ordering ahead if I have to wait inside during COVID? 5 mins after sitting there I'm told they don't even have carnitas tacos. Ok. Steak then. NONE of the workers (except 1 although it didn't even cover their nose so what's the point) were wearing masks. I got home to find my cheese sauce spilled all over the bag. The wrong salsa. The cheese/ meat sauce was so small I never would have paid $6 had I known. Very disappointing all around. I regret leaving a tip. read more

Such a joke! One star is too many. Ordered a to go order and EVERYTHING was wrong and I was completely overcharged. They refused to do anything about it unless I drove all the way back to "prove" it was wrong since they claim everyone lies about wrong orders that are to go. Didn't get any money back. Missing food and the lack of customer service. New employee took order and apparently charged for whatever he felt like and it's basically an "oh well" and a loss. Hands down the best Mexican food you will find in our area. Their verde sauce is amazing. If you have a big appetite you cannot go wrong with the Molcajete Ranchero or the Eduardo Special. Service was terrific - it had better be - only one other table was in use while we were there. Chips are thicker than we like but good anyway - salsa was warm but not too hot. This place opened up recently by my farm, and being a huge fan of Mexican food i decided to give it a try. I was amazed by the taste and quality of the food that lay before me! I usually get the chicken or steak fajita which is BIG as it is tasty. This place is a hidden gem in the area and i would recommend it to anybody. The staff is always helpful, and the drinks were always cold. I wouldn't pay no mind to some of the other reviews, because I have never had a bad experience here. read more

I hear this place just opened and wanted to try it out. I knew from the size of the town I should not expect much so I went in with an open mind. As we were seated the host handed us our menu. My menu was stained with salsa that was obviously spilled by the person who had the menu first. He asked what we wanted to drink and I could not find the drinks so I asked the host if he can point them out to me. He clearly saw the salsa all over my menu and did not bother to say anything about it. Once I saw the drinks I decided on a Sprite as it clearly states on the menu. The host then says to me. "We only have Sierra Mist". I thought that was funny. He walks away and I had to use my only napkin to clean my menu. While I was cleaning the menu our waiter comes to the table to take our drink order. He clearly sees me cleaning the menu and he does not offer me a cleaner menu. I of course said the host took our drink order. So then he walks away not even asking us if we were ready to order. So we continue to look at the food items. They seemed reasonably priced. We then ordered our food and the food came right out. Pretty fast but it was a 1/2 hour to closing so I'm going to assume that some of our items were already cooked and just needed a bit of heating up. As we ate our food it was decent. Nothing special. I still needed a napkin so I had to waive our waiter down to bring us some. I will try this place one more time. I will not go close to closing time though. Maybe a weekend. My party of four ordered food and alcoholic beverages quickly after being seated. The drinks came out in a timely manner. About 20 minutes after ordering, we notice a table that came in after us had received their food. Not too concerned, we asked the waitress to check on the status of our order and bring us more chips (as we had finished our chips and salsa and one of our margaritas). The waitress returned to let us know that they were indeed working on our food and she had removed two of the margaritas from our tab for the trouble. Unfortunately, more food came out to other tables and we started getting a little frustrated. At this point two parties of 2 came and left in the time we were sitting at our table, waiting for our food. After sitting for 45-50 minutes we again asked the waitress to check on our food. She returned to the table and said it was the next order up. About 5-10 minutes later (now at the hour mark from ordering), a table of three that sat down 20-30 minutes after we had ordered was served their meal. I went to the counter to ask our waitress to check with the kitchen how much longer and if I could speak to a manager. A manager was not available. The waitress said "7 more minutes, definitely under 10." At this point we had been there over an hour, many table had come and gone. We left the restaurant without food and without explanation. We had not ordered complicated things: two taco salads, nachos, and a chicken quesadilla. The restaurant was not busy, maybe 7 tables total (at best) with three waiters/waitresses visible. We were so disappointed. I have tried to call the restaurant, but no one answers. read more

I decided to treat my kids on a Wednesday night and we decided to go to Lalo's. Their food has always been good in the past. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated right away. The host gave us our menu's and took our drink order. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We were getting ready to leave 45 minutes later when the host decided to check on us. There were a few people who came in after us who were already being served their food. They checked our drinks, which were empty, at the time they took our order and only refill half of the drinks. I had to go to the counter for the other refills. We finally received our food, which was very sloppily put on our plates. No one checked on us at all for drink refills or anything else. I had to return to the counter for napkins. We waited another 10 minutes after eating before i finally had to return to the counter again to get and pay our check. I never saw a waiter, just the host who "waited" on us through our whole experience. Never once did i receive an apology or explanation, just a bad experience. It will be a long time before I return to this restaurant, if at all. read more
