They offered Free WiFi and Free coffee while you wait. I had a coupon for a $17.95 Full Service oil change. They have a 8 car garage and only 2 cars in it. and the 5'6" guy who looks in his mid 50's, maybe arabic. Tells me to come back at 8:00 am to use the coupon and even then, I get the brush off over the coupon. They have these NAPA coupons on the http://valpak.com as well as the http://www.napaautofarmi... websites. They offer coupons for Free AC Inspection & Brake Inspection w/ approved repair. If he had an issue with accepting the coupons, why does he advertise them on a monthly basis. It makes no sense!! They are losing several money paying customers because of this guy whether he's the owner or a worker, Not to mention pissing them off. I wanted to give these guys a chance and each time they have turned me away! I even offered to get an oil change, tire replacement. I won't be back! Just to let you know this store has 2 yelp listings at the same address, **** UPDATE **** July 10, 2013. I decided to contact NAPA corporate office to report this matter to them and they stated "All Michigan NAPA locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees and they have the option to not accept NAPA coupons even if it has their own store address on it. The corporate office didnt seem to care either. Don't expect to receive any good service from this company.

I was so surprised by the fraudulent behavior of the over the counter staff, specifically the old man and his son Mohammad, engaged in what I consider to be deceitful behavior and their business practices are steeped in lies and dishonesty at this so-called Tel Ford Service mechanic shop. I initially visited their shop for a simple fuel pump replacement, a task that should have been straightforward. However, they deliberately sabotaged the brand-new part I had personally purchased, forcing me to buy an identical one from them at an exorbitant $567 markup. To add insult to injury, they charged me an additional $300 in labor fees. The old man initially promised to source a superior pump directly from the manufacturer, with the expectation of improved quality justifying the higher price. However, it became clear that he had simply ordered the same Napa Auto Parts pump that I had originally provided (the one he had vandalized). When confronted, he refused to speak with me directly, instead sending his son as an intermediary to feign ignorance. In the end, I was swindled out of over $860 beyond the original estimate. I think this mechanic shop is a den of thieves, and I urge others to avoid them at all costs. Few days later, I had to revisit them for a rattling sound came from the area supposedly repaired part, well within their work warranty. His son then had the audacity to suggest a $75 diagnosis fee, with no acknowledgment of their own error. Alignment was ok, but the steering was still off. Wish they would've told me that they're especially good with Jeeps. They also didn't have the expertise to repair an oil pan gasket. They just had a hard time with this tire. When he called this place, the man told him $220, then would call back and change the price and say $ 300, and he would have to get corrected by being told you just told me $220. Then the man would say, "Oh yeah, right, $220. Mind you, this is only for 1 tire. I think that's way too much for 1 tire, but anyways, the car ended up being in the shop for 1 day (to change a brake for one tire). The man called in the morning and said, "These are the wrong brakes and rotors, so I used mine and changed the other one in the front as well, so it's gonna be $450 now." Auto Zone helped find the correct brakes and rotors for the car and even so NOBODY TOLD YOU TO DO THAT. Soon as the car is being driven back home, it starts to smoke. Now the coolant is empty (never ever had this broken before), so had to go to the gas station to get something for it, poured some into the car, and drove a little down, and it's smoking again and the coolant back empty, so it's a leak. I called the man multiple times once the car started smoking and he's denying everything.

I took my car in on 04/22/2026 because the power steering light came on, the lady at the front desk…read moresays she's going to call me about the diagnosis, turns out its not a power steering issue but it's a alternator and battery, Not only does she not call me, she takes it upon herself to fix my vehicle without my authorization, charging me $700!! my battery was still under warranty and only takes 10 minutes to replace, the alternator isn't a time consuming/difficult fix either, I could have handled those things myself, after paying the diagnostics fee, they didn't call me because they knew I could find a cheaper fix, and which is extremely shady and dishonest.

He scams people for the business and refuses work that isn't convenient to them. So they installed my front struts Obviously wrong, left giant stickers across the top so they couldn't seat properly. When I brought it back to them they use the warranty and said the parts were bad and made Monroe eat the loss. Here's the thing though-Mike tried desperately begging me to come get my car at the end of that work day I brought it back. It was too late and I did not have a ride. I called in the morning to see about picking the car up and someone else answered the phone unaware of what Mike had done and said no they just pulled the your car in it hasn't been in till today. So had I picked up the car I'm assuming they had cut the stickers out with a razor knife it would have been no different no work done and I only had a few days left on my warranty which I believe he was counting on. And-bonus-they get to keep a pair of brand new Monroe's for the next guy-free to them So like I said he's scanning for the company. The other manager told me he believed it was a mistake and he had mixed up cars, But I was able to ask Mike separately and his story was that they had put the car in the shop replace the struts and it was ready that night somehow but then they had to pull the car back in and replace the struts again. I said you put three sets of struts in my car?!? He said "yep" I literally saw a mechanic that was in the room to the side of me laughing because I had caught him in a lie and he performed so badly He also signed my paperwork for me and I realize that as I drove it to Firestone to get all the work looked over because I don't trust them one iota. When I called him to ask why he signed my paperwork he just kept screaming "you don't know who I am" It was just a distraction so no one else would know that he did it. I know exactly who Mike is, he's the reason I will never return to a shop that I had recommended to many people, paid a bit extra a couple times because of loyalty and thinking that they did good work. He ruined telegraph location, moved on to ecorse and ruined that also. I first met him over 10 years ago with that original overpriced quote so there's no way they're employing this man for over a decade while he's constantly hustling, scamming, and harassing people without being completely complicit. They can't do the job right the first time or the second time they can't stick to the price that they originally say because he tried jumping the price by a hundred when the key hit his hand until I changed his mind. Sucks to say it but just stay away from this place!
