Hello everyone! I…read morehad promised Eugen an honest review; I was holding off on making this until I was able to follow up with him but unfortunately I havnt recieved a response since December of last year so im writing this off my current experience. Please read it all as there are pros and cons. -Preamble- I seen a vehicle on Eugen's Kijiji page, better price then anywhere else, and decided to take the plunge. Met with Eugen and his dad at his small dealership in Brantford. Small working man vibes and, I still believe, genuine people trying to make it. I took the car for a test drive, which it ran well with some smaller issues I didnt notice until later (minor details accept for 1) and decided that I wanted it. I even stuck around for an extra hour or two to help search for a part for another customer. I mean it when I say both Eugen and his father are geniune people. Given this and more, I paid FULL price for this car, because I trusted Eugen with what he had told me, what I had seen, and I wanted to invest im him and our working relationship. Moreover, Eugen and his Dad were able to drive the car to me, which was an unbelievably helpful thing to do and I still cherish it to this day, Thank you Eugen! Moving onto aftercare, I had been driving the car for a few days and noticed a magnatism in the windscreen (as if someone tried to buff the glass) and reached out for a fix. Eugen suggested that he pay for half of a new windscreen, to which I happily agreed too knowing he didnt have to do anything if he didnt want; the car was already in my name. However, unfortunately, I found out a few days later that the vehicle was burning oil. To Eugen's credit, this series of vehicles has an issue with burning oil and even the vendor has stated there is a oil burning problem on this model of the car. Eugen even swore on his kids that he didnt know, and I do still believe that. The oil light on the dash went off about 300 kms into owning it, so I reached out to Eugen through text and then call to ask what we could do about this. Keeping in mind this was a retitle, I had also found out through my own inspections that this car had been rear ended into another object, causing some crumpling in the plastics and bodywork covered with new bumpers, new muffler, and reshaped spare wheel well.(to which I was and still am fine with, rebuilt cars imo are just fine if inspected and this comes with the territory). We ended up on deciding to do a oil burn test to see how bad it was (IE run the car until the car registered 1 qt of oil burned), to which I reached about 2400kms before the light came on. Thats not bad - not ideal as many engines in this lineup were replaced for similar piston ring blowby issues - but not bad given my research into everything and the car is running great as of today knock on wood. -The Great- -Eugen is a really great and friendly guy; his Dad is very knowledgable and accomidatable. -Eugen's Dad offered to help out with finding good priced parts even after the default 30 day "warranty". -Very well priced cars, albiet for the purpose of rebuild, still run like solid cars. -They drove the car to me given my situation. I do not live in Brantford. A+. -Eugen Paid for half my new windscreen, even after saftey, to accomodate me. Again, A+. -Seemingly honest, told me a fair amount about the vehicle, even sent me the auction photos. -The not so Great- -I asked for a car that didnt burn oil and this one does. Not sure what else to say here; Its my problem now lol. -I had to fix the plastic panneling where it was crumpled, the muffler was rubbing into the back metal frame, and the wheel well and backside of the car look like a topographical map/ picaso covered in black automotive fibreglass (underneith). All things im personally ok with fixing myself (and didnt bring up to Eugen) as it doesnt impeded the ability to drive or enjoy the car, but if you dont have the means or understanding you may need to ask Eugen to have it looked at if you run into issues to which im sure he would help you out no questions asked. -Stopped responding to me, which I can only assume to mean no more help? I have not been rude to Eugen and he has not been rude to me, but that is my opinion so take it with a big grain of salt. -No UVIP; No CARFAX. Im pretty sure used car dealers do not need to provide these, but it would have been nice to know before purchase. -Warrenty - 30 days. There is no defined list or document for it. I was told it was for "major engine and transmission issues" but not oil burning. I still do not know what is included in that and im well past the 30 days at this point. There are a few smaller details im withholding given my respect for Eugen and his Father (ie car model, specific details, etc) so please make sure you do your own research and take a buddy. ~All things considered, Thank you Eugen for the vehicle and friendly help. As im not sure ill hear from you again, I hope your business flourishes and you c

Please look over every little detail when purchasing a vehicle from any dealership but more…read moreimportantly know the signs to look for to make sure you are not getting scammed. Brantford Honda recently scammed me really good, and after being a very good customer for over 20 yrs with them goes to show the new GM has ruined their reputation of being honest. 1) Take someone in with you that understand contracts and sales and record your conversations for proof if needed. 2)Read every little detail on your contract, on every little piece of paper they jot information down on. 3) NEVER believe what they are telling you. ALWAYS assume they are being dishonest, that way you won't be surprised at the end of your deal. Plus if they were being honest and everything works out, it's a WIN for you! 4) When something sounds fishy, trust your gut and not their words! 5) When you are financing a vehicle make sure you check every word carefully. Make sure they are not adding little words in here and there, make sure there is no buy out fee even if they say " it just has to look like a lease on paper and there won't be a buyout" DONT BELIEVE THEM! 6) Brantford Honda and BIG dealerships such as them DONT LEASE USED VEHICLES, they also DONT LEASE NON HONDA vehicles. So even in the end when they tell you "it was not financed it was a lease, and we will not honour any agreement made by the previous GM or the salesman" it's time to get a lawyer because leases do not exist for those vehicles and they are stealing your money or taking your vehicle back so they can resell it to the next sap that trusts them. 7) If the new GM gets rid of the lending company you have been dealing with for the whole term of your financing and changes it to a company that she owns herself, know that something is fishy there. 8 ) if you are "leasing" a vehicle and want to have another dealership buy it out so you can get away from the lying dealership you have been dealing with BRANTFORD HONDA will not allow them to buy it out. The new GM has decided she won't allow that! (Of course so she can screw the consumer out of an extra 10,000 that they don't owe) If this information can help even one person from not getting scammed like Brantford Honda just did to me, losing $35,000 won't be worth it but will still make me feel a little bit better for being such a fool and getting taken the way I did. So thanks Laura Purkiss, James Wright and Brantford Honda for being the devious, lying POS's that I unfortunately had the chance to deal with! I hope your scamming BUTTS get closed down for ripping off so many consumers.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE setup an appt to view a used vehicle as…read moreI had a 4 hour comutte to the dealership ! 3 hours into my journey I received a call from Hayden stating the vehicle was sent out for repair.. disappointed I then drove 3 hours back home . I reached out the next morning asking when it would return to reschedule a test drive ! so we setup a second appt. I then drove 4 hour and was on time for my appt to find another couple in the vehicle.. confused I spoke to one of the mangers who quickly said sorry we don't "hold cars" you simply have to wait your turn ..fine.. so I did .. the couple then handed back the keys and continued test driving other vehicles.. I was then given the keys and told by hunter it's was now available.. i handed over my info and off I went for a test drive !.. upon return I was told sorry the vehicle is sold while I was gone . Pardon ? I said a new sales lead in now in progress (with me) "my turn" hunter said sorry there's nothing we can do. I explained my frustration to both Chris and Laura who backed up there (in not so many words policy). The first one to put money in our hand policy is how or works ? how do u sell something no longer in your possession as I'm the new buyer ? absolutely disgusting customer service
