SimplyTire - The date of manufacture (read 12th week of 2023) was less than 5 months prior to installation, so this is a new, "fresh" tire.

SimplyTire is now my go-to place for tires -- both for my car and my dad's. We had previously tried…read morea chain Canadian tire store, but were left feeling cheated and ripped off. In contrast, SimplyTire is professional and transparent. Their website provides out-the-door pricing, and everyone, from the front desk to the person working on your car, is knowledge about tires. When we went to an automotive chain store, they installed 5-, 6-, and 15-year-old "new" tires! But we didn't realize this until 20 months later, when we started having issues with the tires. SimplyTire was just as angry as we were at the situation. They highlighted the dangers of such old tires: the rubber breaks down and the risk of a slow leak or blow out increases drastically. This posed a danger to us, as well as others on the road! Thank goodness my dad doesn't drive on the highway. SimplyTire installed tires manufactured less than 5 months prior, and showed us the DOT and date code for each tire! They were considerate of our time and our situation. I highly recommend the knowledgeable, skilled, and transparent professionals at SimplyTire.

Have a very bad experience with Simplytire today. Last year this time I purchased a set of new…read morewinter tires from them as well as 4 steel wheels and installed on site. Today when I change winter time, my mechanic noticed one of the wheel is obviously different from the other three (has different # of holes), which will cause safety issue if the different wheel has a different offset. I did experienced car swerving issues last winter on some type of highway road (e.g. if on grooved surface) after the change of winter tire. Thought it was the winter tire but now it is clear the different rim could very much be the reason. Called simplytire and their attitude was rude. Blamed me why I didn't notice it after the change last year instead of reflecting on the reckless work their shop worker mixing different Rims and putting customers in danger potentially. Said they don't care about any negative review new customs will come anyway...Has been a loyal customer with them for more than 15 years ever since Allen worked there and did the annual redflagdeals sale... Too bad this place has gone downhill ever since the business ownership change many other people mentioned. Today has a personal experience verifying it is true.

Brant County Tire - Installed chicken lights on this tandem van trailer

My daughter bought a car from a private seller. The car was sold certified. Brant County Tire did…read morethe safety.. The car was dropped to us on a flat bed trailer as it had no plates. This was a saturday, the safety was done on the Friday. The car sat in the driveway until the next Wednesday. The car was changed over that day and she started to drive it. She immediatly noticed noises from the front end. I took it back to BCT so they could check it. I was told the 2 lower control arms that were just replaced for the safety were defective. The right side cv axle had a tear in the boot and a possible front wheel bearing gone bad. The mechanic said the seller did their own work and they don't warranty other peoples work. I get that and understand that position in everyday cases but He inspected the work and signed off on it during a ministry licensed inspection. That's a sign off saying that in his professional opinion the work done is to acceptable standards. They won't do anything or take any accountability for the suspected botched inspection they did. The owner of the business is only concerned with his own back side. Here are his comments he spoke over a phone conversation " What happens when it leaves my shop is not my problem" and " I can recite a number of ministry regs that will get me out of this". Both the mechanic and the owner also went into explaining that the sellers were car flippers, they don't change the ownership over from the owners they bought it from so they don't have to pay taxes. Then the shop owner said they have two more vehicles with them so he'll hold them until they make it right with us. So, they were made aware of the situation, they explained what these people are doing and yet they are still doing business with these people. I'll let you draw your own conclusions to that relationship. I almost forgot, I drove over to my mechanic with the car and while in the driveway he stated the front rotors were installed backwards. This was with the tires on, on the ground. The rotors are slotted so they are not cooling properly. Not sure how BCT missed that as well. So, they don't take accountability and they don't care what happens to you after you leave their property. I would really think about it before getting work done at Brant County Tire. The ministry won't help either. It states they wont get monetary value and they won't compel the shop to do the work. The only thing that you can do put in a complaint.

After calling around all morning trying to find a replacement tire for our Class A RV from several…read morevendors, we were unsuccessful...then began a string of happenstances that led to Doug, at Brant County Tire. He actually had several of our very specific size tire, and quoted an accurate price for the tire and their service. With the remnants of Hurricane Beryl ongoing, rainy and dreary weather, he came out to our location and in about 30 minutes, we were on our way. Doug was very pleasant, very professional and extremely efficient at replacing our buses tire. He even called ahead to Tire Master in London, to have them stand by to re-torque the lug nuts. Great service and care.
