Oy Vey. As I recall we were at Jose's on a Thursday night and they had a pretty fun karaoke. I can tell you there were mostly younger folks but a couple that were almost our age. I believe we had trouble finding their signage in the dark and parked in a little area in the back. A bit spooky but ended up safe in the long run. The bartender was really cool and fast like the wind. Not sure what we talked about, but was definitely good folks. No food that I remember; if there was, we didn't order any. I think someone brought in a small pizza. So, you can do that. It's definitely a drive, but a solid comfortable one with a pretty good view of the lake, but it was dark out.

Count the sketchy things with me, kids. Atmosphere: Walking in, you could tell that this was a bar that ran on regulars. Very run down, dirty, had a bit of a smell (musk if you will) about it. The bartender was very funny. You could tell she feels comfortable with the regulars and really does not care about the things that come out of her mouth. That may be off-putting to a lot of people/customers but we didn't mind. Sketchy #1: This bar is "pay as you go". meaning you can not start a tab. You want another drink? Pay in full. As soon as I walked back there, I felt like I just interrupted (Sketchy #2) a drug deal. It was so shady that I smoked about 3 hits of my cigarette and retreated back inside. Food: Sketchy #3: The bartender brought our food to our seat and as soon as she say my coney dog in front of me, I touched it and just obviously looked disgusted. I believe she even asked "what?" to which I replied nothing. While she left to get I believe a condiment or something for the burger, I examined the coney dog more closely. The bread was literally SOAKING WET. Just a soggy mess with no sign of even the hotdog. Just coney and bread. When she came back with the condiments, I just straight up told her that I was not going to eat whatever it is that was. Sketchy #4: I went to the restroom and it was absolutely deplorable. Disgusting. There wasn't even any soap... Truth be told, my partner said the burger wasn't terrible. She said it was nothing special but it was good enough to eat half of it despite the condition of the bacon. George's was one of the places with the most votes on my poll so I had to give it a try. I've been looking forward to the Wednesday night Burger specials I keep seeing on local group pages as well. George's is located in downtown Canton surrounded by other local businesses and food establishments. The George's 59 Classic with fries definitely did not miss. It was a really good burger cooked to perfection and fries were delicious. Even though there was another table with kids, I wouldn't recommend it.

While I was there, I looked at the entire menu. They offer a great variety of foods from Burgers and salads to dinner entres. In addition, they have daily specials at extremely reasonable prices like a 1/2 pound burger on Sundays for $7.00!! If you have never been to Morrie's, I highly suggest you give them a try.
