However, when we saw the kayaks, we decided to live spontaneously. I've always wanted to paddle board and the weather conditions were perfect. The guy at the tent was very kind, had us fill out waivers, and within 5 minutes we were on the water. They do require and provide life jackets. I thought it was deep water, but when we were in the middle of the river, I stuck my paddle in the water and realized I was only about 3 feet above land; I laughed. In the 2 hours, we made our way to the end of the hundred acre cove and back (they only allow you to stay on the left side of the bridge). It was nice to see the marsh lands, the houses, and the birds. It was $30 for 2 hours per person, which I thought was standard. I would recommend for a first time paddle boarder or kayaker since the waters are calm, and the scenery is nice.

Casey is very professional and gave a strong impression that he a man of good ethics and goal-oriented. In our conversation I provided further information to the incident, he listened, acknowledged my issue, then came up with possible solutions that he plans to address to his staff to prevent this type of incident in the future, and then he offered me a second experience on the house. This is more than I expected, and I am impressed!!! To Casey I give 5-stars. I look forward to my second experience with Regatta Point Community Sailing.

The check-in process was very efficient. We filled out some forms in one area, paid in another, and then got our kayak in another. We went from parking to being in our kayak in about 5 minutes. Note that we got there about an hour after it opened so it wasn't that busy yet. We drove by later in the day and it was packed, so I'd say the earlier you can get there the better. It was also hot so water, sunglasses and hats are helpful. Kayaks are in good condition and it's about a 20 minute paddle south to the north end of the Narragansett town beach. There are also motor boats around but most were very nice and gave us plenty of room. There's lots of wildlife around especially birds so would be good for pretty much anyone. Would highly recommend and would definitely go again.
