Your doctor Derek Castro is some humble about his talent and takes it to the next level when working. Not to mention his military back round that extends his work ethic and perfection under pressure. I had an issue from mishap with a dentist. He saw the problem and fixed it after hours right then. You will not find this response at any other office in the state. So trust and do not worry. I…read moreconsider myself a pretty easygoing person with a high pain tolerance, but my experience at this place was horrific. I don't understand why they had me sign an initial contract saying how much my procedure would cost if it was going to constantly change. They called me an hour before my procedure, to tell me casually, it was going to cost $600 more than they originally quoted me. I needed to come in early before my procedure to sign new paperwork. When I pushed back she gave me a weird lecture about paying my employer for better insurance and I explained to her I pay for the best insurance my large (nice) corporation allows. Healing wasn't smooth and when I texted Dr. B saying I had a lot of swelling on one of my grafts (I had two on my top canine teeth) she told me there was "no way I had an infection." When I went in for my two week follow up appointment that Monday I was surprised the assistants were the ones to remove my stitches. I asked if I was going to be able to see the Dr. that day and they said I could make a separate appointment to come back later to check my swollen gums. They didn't remove the stitches. I could go on and on, but when I saw Dr. B later that day she casually said that one of the stitches had come loose on that tooth so the tissue healed incorrectly. I was confused and asked questions about what that meant and she was quick to accuse me of trying to talk before my two week check up appointment. She said something vague about how the blood supply was now compromised there and there's nothing they could do- they would see me in three months. She took additional photos of my graft that "didn't look as bad" as the ones the assistants took that morning. When I got into my car I burst into sobbing tears. I feel like this office completely messed up my smile- my gums are now uneven on either side and they blamed me. I'm out $3,000 out of pocket and I just got yet another unexpected bill for an additional $120. I'm beside myself. I feel like I'm out a lot of money and I'm the same if not worse off. Is this office a money laundering scheme? Pretty much everything they do is to seek payment and cover up liability.

From the moment I met Dr. Castro and his staff, Dee and Kim, I knew that I made the right choice. They told me exactly what to expect during and after the surgery. I was given a sedative when I arrived and really didn't feel a thing during the procedure. Of course there was pain afterwards, but Dr. Castro addressed it accordingly. The follow up appointments were always thorough and pleasant. I can now eat without my dentures coming out! It really has changed my life. I would recommend this team to anyone requiring a dental procedure.

He doesn't do root canals nor implants and so when I need either he sends me off to specialist in those areas. The staff at Dr. Crowson's has always been very courteous and efficient and when I go in there I almost feel like part of their family. Dr. Crowson is a really nice person, his assistant over 30 years named Judi and him work well together and are a great team as well as she's always a pleasure to talk with. When a dentist pulls out a new tool and your first reaction is "uhhhhhh ... what's that?" He'll take the time to explain what it is and what it'll feel like. I've referred two coworkers to him and they've both had positive experiences. My one complaint is that it's hard to get in, so if you need something but it can wait, schedule it now because he is always booked.
