She knew exactly what needed to be done. I knew that a few days at least would be needed to take in the waist and hem the length. Unfortunately for me, something came up and I needed them earlier than expected. I called Insi and explained the scheduling conflict. I have a backup pair of trousers I could wear for the upcoming event, although the fit is really off, but if at all possible to pick them up a few hours earlier. I told her I would rather have quality work and pick them up the following week, instead of rushing. She said she would try, and depending on the difficulty of the cut, she might be able to have them early. I was thrilled that she texted even earlier than she expected and said the trousers were ready. I went and tried them on and they were done exactly as needed. I am so grateful to finally have a great fitting pair of trousers for my uniform, and I felt good about wearing them to the event that weekend. Thank you Insi!

I knew that we would get along and that she would be the perfect person to make sure that my wedding dress was perfect on me!! She was funny and fantastic, and the pricing of the alterations were so reasonable given that there were so much to do with the dress when I first presented it to her! Not only was she a seamstress, but she also served as a stylist!! I saw out her opinions on shoes, and she even made my wedding veil, which was such a delicate and much needed addition to my very special day! Above all, she is a woman that I have come to look up to throughout our sessions! I not only saw how hard she works, but I also learned about her life story, and she may appear small, but trust me, she is mighty! She is so popular and well respected that she even connected me with another fellow physician in the area with whom I knew through our doctor circles! I am very grateful for her, and I can't wait to go back to her for other alterations in the future!!

The stitching is crooked, threads are hanging everywhere, and the line isn't even straight. It looks worse than before I dropped it off. she didn't even try to stick to the original stitching pattern on this skirt. What's even more insulting is that we paid her twice, and she still couldn't get it right. Her workmanship is careless, and it's clear she doesn't take pride in her craft. On top of that, she only seems friendly and attentive to Spanish-speaking customers -- if you don't, expect attitude and zero effort. This woman completely ruined a piece I loved, wasted my time, and charged me for it. Save yourself the money and frustration. Go somewhere that actually knows how to sew and respects all their customers equally. like I'm sorry did I give it to a five-year-old to stitch. If I wanted this quality of work, I would've done it myself at home. if she's too old to work, she needs to retire. cause this quality of work is ridiculous

The DELAYS here are TOTALLY UNREASONABLE as I had to wait 3 weeks to clean 3 outdoor pads cover and after 1 month the "owner" Adam (not even sure he is) couldn't even provide me with a timeframe to get my outdoor cushions redone with alteration!!! These people are or on holiday or don't wanna work!! They also asked me to go myself to downtown to get the fabric and do their job because they are too lazy to do so!!! Adam said "oh she already went 2 weeks ago we don't know when she'll go back we don't have a time frame for you" so I had to follow up constantly with Adam to get updated and even when he had updates he was keeping me posted!! Never tell them you are not in a rush because they will take FULL ADVANTAGE of it and will just completely forget about you!! A SHAME! I was a long term customer but they take 1 freaking week to reach out to 1 person on the phone like it was a super complicated thing to do!!! Don't waste your time, not worth it. Bad work ethic, ridiculous delays. Adam also never apologized for the inconvenience he caused with just not knowing if the delay would take 3 other weeks or 6 months! Instead of pushing and managing his employees he ask the customers to do their job!!! Also after being rude and insolent with such attitude with me please see in the screenshots below how patient I have been but after 1 month yes client loose patience therefore your business looses its clientele. NOT WORTH IT save your time money and energy and go ELSEWHERE!

I hadn't even stepped foot inside yet. When I finally went in, all I wanted to do was return a key fob to someone I know who worked there. Instead, the owner, Nick Tirabassi, was unbelievably rude, waved his hand in my face, and claimed I was "bringing drama" because I had been smoking outside. He even fired the employee on the spot in front of me, blaming me for it, even though I barely knew him and was literally just returning his belongings. The way Nick handled this situation was unprofessional, disrespectful, and hostile. No customer should ever be treated this way. I will never return to 818 Cleaners, and I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
