I recall them having a good amount of "stock" surfaces to choose from when we built back in 2011, but their choices have significantly expanded since then. We were able to select from a wide variety of quartz and granite at a very reasonable price point, but they have a huge selection of materials should you want something other than their stock selections. They are also happy to price out different material choices for you before you make your final choice, which makes the process that much better. Top it off with great service and professional installation and choosing Top of the World Granite becomes a no-brainer and I can recommend them without hesitation.

Elite Home and Stone Supply and its owner Eric King were recommended to us by our contractor for…read moreour kitchen remodel. The contractor had worked with Mr. King on prior jobs and had a positive working relationship with him and his company. However, that was not the case for us and our project. After selecting our quartzite slabs in May, 2022, the nightmare ensued. When we reached the point of the project where it was time to measure for the countertop, Mr. King would not answer repeated phone calls, texts, or emails from our contractor. Finally, we were able to communicate with him and he came to our home on October 23, 2022 to measure. Installation of countertop was scheduled for November 16, 2022. Mr. King canceled due to truck failure and rescheduled for November 18, 2022. He again canceled due to inclement weather. The following week, my husband & I called everyday to set up a 3rd installation date. He never returned a phone call. I went into his store on Monday, November 28th to speak with Mr. King to check on the status of installation. He assured me my installation was for December 1, 2022 and sent a calendar invite to my contractor confirming this date. Mr. King never arrived on December 1, 2022 for installation due to the fact that he was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant. Mr. King contacted my husband on December 5 assuring him that we would know by the end of the day when our countertop would be installed later that week. No subsequent call or message was received from Mr. King by our contractor, nor us. At this point, we decided to cut our loss and go with a different slab and countertop installer. We worked with Dwyer's to pick out a new granite slab and Superior Granite to cut and install counter. Both companies demonstrated exemplary customer service and turnaround time from granite selection to installation was 2 weeks. The final product is stunning and a showpiece in our beautiful, new kitchen. If you are still reading this, I applaud you. We trusted Mr. King with this aspect of our kitchen project and were sorely disappointed, and discouraged. He caused unnecessary headaches and as other reviews state, avoid Elite Home and Stone Supply and Eric King at all costs.

They premeasured our kitchen way in advance and created templates for the new granite tops. When the day came to install the granite top, it went like clockwork. They also made the backsplash so its thinner than the counter top. Very nice to look at. This may be a minor detail but its important. I thought their price was fair for the quality of the work. One thing noticeable was that they color-matched the adhesive they applied between the backsplash and the counter. Because of the cost of putting Granite (or quartz), we took our time (about 8 mos) selecting a contractor. We shopped at 5 places plus attended the Parade of Homes where we could see the installed work. The parade of Homes is a great way to get ideas and see work of various contractors. IMHO, selecting a contractor to do granite, quartz or any solid surface work cannot be rushed. And price should not be the sole basis. Best advise - ask to look at several of their work. I have seen work of other installers that made me feel really good that I went with GLGW. There are cheaper alternatives out there but as they say "you get what you pay for". I highly recommend them.

First of all they held up my kitchen remodel with their lateness, then they threatened to not produce sink when I pressed them. Seams started appearing in the sink right away. Never called because didn't want to deal with their rudeness and defensiveness after that. Cracks around the drain started to appear next and now they are going across the whole sink. Only a matter of time before this sink totally disintegrates. Found out later from my cabinet maker that they had used them before and would not again. My countertops came from somebody up by Vassar. Thank goodness. Just pick somebody else.

We had a quote from one of the big box stores and found something equivalent for a little less but the experience was much better. We could actually pick out the slab of granite to order and when it was delivered to their fabrication facility, we could pick out which part of the slab we wanted for the countertops and which part for our island.
