Also, if I could casually borrow their interior designer for my own home, I would! For those who don't know, WeWork provides shared workspaces for startups and services for other enterprises. They have locations world-wide and each one differs from the next. This is my first time at the Circa Building location and it's definitely my favorite of the ones I've seen. As you enter, there is a huge communal area filled with plenty of varied seating, beautiful decor and a large kitchen-area (stocked with all the goods). There are many membership options, and from what I understand, you can rent the use of just the communal area, otherwise there are tiers to fit the needs of all businesses, big or small. Both the first and second floor are lined with offices that are filled with so many different companies. I think the community vibe is real cool in that you can have your own private work space, or you can mingle and connect with other local workers. Yesterday, there were tacos, wine, and pizza on offer by the end of the day in the big shared kitchen. Things like this aren't an every day occurrence but the point is that WeWork also partners with many other local spots for neat special events and collaborations. Not only is this place a great co-working spot, but a fantastic networking one too! (Consider this my plea for a WeWork to open in my city... Milwaukee!)

The Commons on Champa has two rooms available for rent at a very, very reasonable price. A similar (or even smaller, less fancy) space would cost at least $1000 whereas The Commons on Champa was much closer to my budget (about half that). The entire space has free wifi -- in the conference rooms, in the event space and the common area for coworking. It will kick you out after about 5-6 hours, but logging back in isn't a huge deal. There are TV's in the rooms where you can connect your laptop via HDMI, though the sound didn't work in our room so we had to figure out a work-around for a teleconference call. The Commons on Champa was just a few blocks away from the hotel where the group was staying and it wasn't an especially cold few days in Denver, so everyone could walk from the hotel to our meetings easy peasy. Coming and going each day was very easy. No "red tape" to sign in or need for security badges to get in and out of the building. Very nice for 2-day visitors. I also appreciate the mission behind The Commons on Champa -- they are a resource for entrepreneurs in the community. And even if you aren't a small business owner, you can stop by and use the common area for free. All of these things align with my team's goals, so I'm glad they were able to accommodate us for our end-of-year planning.
