Far too many contractors gave us a ballpark figure without wanting to put anything into writing--Scott Brothers was willing to give us an itemized estimate with specific allowances for fixtures. So, if we chose something that was more expensive than that, we knew upfront that we'd be paying more. Brian, Tim, Nick, & Dan made fast work of finishing a stubbed in bathroom in our basement--from start to finish, it was just over three weeks. All the workers who came to our home were friendly, personable, and professional--they cleaned up every day, were very kind to our pets, and communicated with us frequently. They were also very mindful of our pets and were careful not to let any of our inquisitive pets run outside--Tim and Brian made such fast friends with our dog that she was always excited to see them when they arrived. Super special shout out to Tara, who worked with us patiently as we went back and forth on our selections, asked to add and subtract components, and was overall very fast in responding to our inquiries. And when we did encounter the expected challenges with supply chain issues, a product that was damaged, or some other question, their entire team went above and beyond to help solve it in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the final product and so happy to finally have a bathroom in the main entertainment area of our home. I wasn't worried until seven weeks after I had placed the order, still waiting on any communication from the company. Despite repeated requests to call me to discuss, they've communicated only by email, and only after I reached out to ask why my order wasn't done within the terms of the contract. I was told there wasn't a date on my contract but they'd be willing to start work and have it ready for delivery and install in another three weeks. When I declined and requested a refund as they did not fulfill the terms of the agreement, they first refused and then tried to charge an additional "processing fee" to refund my deposit.

Not only was Benji and his team great to work with they took the time to explain the process, answer my questions, and even keep me informed through out the process from scheduling to installation. Benji even helped me navigate the insurance process (since this was my first home owners claim) and explained next steps to make sure my insurance company was kept in the loop and on board with our solutions. They were quick, clean and very nice. When they found some construction mistakes under the old roof, Benji talked through my options, explained the costs (which was very minimal) and made sure I was comfortable with proceeding with the repair. After the roof was replaced it looked nicer and more finished than the original roof I had when I bought the house. Ace Exteriors took the time to install edging that completed the look and hid the hardware underneath. Extra bonus! Overall this team went above and beyond my expectations. I've had many contractors work on my house (large companies and small) and Ace Exteriors was one of the best experiences I've ever had. On the start day they showed up on time with a crew of seven. Jeff (supervisor?) has worked for WR for something like 26 years... a good guy. The foreman had something like 8 years with WR. That tells me a lot. The second day they showed up with a crew of nine due to the posibility of bad weather late in the day and the rest of the week. I was told that under no circumstance would they leave my house unprotected. Everything went exactly as they promised. The roof looks fantastic. Everyone was courteous, professional and respectful of my property. Their cleanup each day was absolutely impecable. Other than the fact that I have a new roof and rain gutter, you would never know that they were even here.

Buck Raith, one of the owners, came to our house and talked about what would be done in detail. We talked about materials, style, support, everything we could think of and more. Buck gave us an estimate and references. After looking at some of their work, we were impressed and decided to go with them. Surprisingly, we did not have to make any down payment or deposit. We were told we didn't pay until we were satisfied with the work. Work began on schedule. The deconstruction took longer than expected, which did not surprise me. We were very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the workmanship throughout. We changed the railings and were only charged the difference in the cost of the materials. We are extremely satisfied with the result. It was better than we hoped for. The deck is beautiful and is exactly what we wanted, and at the price we agreed to at the beginning. If you need a deck built, or need any other work done on your house, I would say look no further. You can't go wrong. I would be happy to give a personal reference.
