I haven't seen a lot of reviews of the oil change part of this business. I've taken my Father-in-law's Chrysler van here several times for just an oil change and filter. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. They are quick, efficient and inexpensive. But what I like most is that they don't hassle me with upsell. You know, "would you like synthetic oil, a premium filter, want us to hose off your radiator?" etc. They just listen and do what you want quickly. This car wash was taken over by someone who has expanded it to include tires, front end alighnment in addition to oil changes and related services. Recently i started seeing a LOT more cars on the lot waiting for something or some kind of service. Today i went there for my usual Express Car Wash and it was obvious that their non car wash operations have become their go to sales compared to the various car wash plans they offer. Since i always use Express and spend a good amount of time doing my own vacuuming etc. I really appreciate the clean rags, window cleaner and other cleaners they include in their car wash service. Today the car wash was as good as always..a real bargain for $7, and the cleaners and rags were also there to use as usual. What i have grown tired of and what has been the case for the last couple of YEARS, is the condition of the VACUUM machine they provide. They are usually very powerful, but seem to not be maintained lately. More importantly, the end of the vacuum hoses constantly drop off while in use. If you are someone trying to vacuum your car the words beyond aggravating come to mind. i guess the owner has so much business servicing the car dealer he is rehabbing cars for that the maintenance of the vacuums doesnt matter as much. Anyway, he can run his business as he sees fit. As for me, i am going elsewhere from now on after 9 years of being their customer. . read more

Just got home from paying $35 to get my car washed. What a horrible job. They never opened the hatch. Didn't vacuum or clean back there at all. Also, for some reason got moved to the back of the vacuum line to let another truck in front of us. This happened after the driver got out of the truck and "talked" to the guy at the vacuum area. I paid 45$ to get my car hand waxed and they failed to wax the top, completely unprofessional, spend your time and money elsewhere.

This is my favorite car wash. I have mobility issues so I'm not able to do self serve car washes. I buy their gift certificates & they keep them on file for me, so I never have to worry about misplacing them and they have mine pulled out & ready to use when I get inside to pay. Twice the technician found cash under my seat & left it out for me when I got inside. So refreshing to have such honest people cleaning my car. I used to have to remove the change in my console before going to other car washes because it would be stolen if I left it in the car. Yesterday I observed them taking my pickup truck back to the wash cycle (I guess the bed didn't get cleaned out enough) & they didn't even mention that they went above & beyond----they just did it! read more

My van needed some serious wash and oil change. They did a good job on cleaning the van and oil change. However, they have a chocolate lab they keep inside. When the employees tease the dog, the dog barks, wow cover your ears! The building echoes off the bark sounds. Can't be inside. I have nothing against bring a dog to work, I would love to bring mine. But I would respect others and not let it bark to the point it hurts your ears. Miss the other employees and staff they were nicer and made you feel welcome. read more

Received a free car wash coupon in the mail so figured I'd give it a try. Don't waste your time. There was no high pressured water during the wash. It was a joke. The vacuums were not on when I got there (keep in mind it was at least 20 minutes before closing). Someone finally turned them on but they went off before I had time to finish. This place definitely did not leave a good first impression. There are several other car washes that are superior in Gainesville. read more

This was a terrible experience. I came in for an interior clean that was supposed to take 30 minutes. It has been an hour and a half and they are still not done. Apparently only a couple of people knew how to do the interior clean I paid for so everyone just continued to skip my car and clean the next one. It took an hour for them to realize the issue. I used to go to the car wash on Jesse Jewell Pkwy which had an express wash for $5 including free vacuum. Then they suddenly increased the price to $7..a 40% increase. In the past 2-3 years a couple of new car washes have opened up in Gainesville. I havent tried them because i was happy at the place on JJ Hgwy. I happen to live much closer to this car wash..Lakeside so i thought i would try them for a change. Went there and found their price for express wash is also $7, but they have free vacuum AND also free cleaning rags and window/multi purpose cleaner which the JJ Pkwy doesnt have. They also have a COMPRESSED AIR hose to really blow the dirt etc out of your car. I have never seen that before and it works wonders! For some reason this car wash doesnt seem to have the flow of business i would expect given their pricing and the extras they offer. They also offer other services like oil changes etc.Finally, they offer a full range of ala carte detailing which seems to be priced reasonably and i like because i dont need some of the services which are usually included in a one size fits all detailing package. I plan to try the Expess wax on one of my cars and one of the attendants who works there took his time to show me a special tool they use to remove dog hair from cars. He was a real positive customer service oriented young man. My only problem with this place is that i dont understand why they dont have a LOT MORE BUSINESS! I cant find anything wrong with them and their prices are competitive. I noted several negative Yelp reviews which had to do with their detailing services which i have had no experience with. Their overall operation seems to be spread pretty thin which may be their problem...trying to be too many things to their customers. They do have some sort of UNLIMITED WASH program which is pretty competitively priced as i recall. Anyway, i really like this place and plan to go there regularly and to also try the detailing ....wax job. If they can get their business process improved and perhaps communicate more effectively with customers on the FRONT END of the transaction , they should attract a lot of customers from the immediate surrounding area. read more

Okay so I paid got the ultimate detailing package. The 150.00 one. I waited 5 hours. The girl at the front told me I had an hour left and when I got there I waited 2 more hours. My windows still had black gunk along the top of them and my seats and floors were soaking wet and covered in plastic. They are still soaking wet today and my kids can't ride in my car. The paint was scratched off the front of my car where they scraped bugs off and there are still random stains on the interior. It smells nice and they dusted it and got the dog hair out so that was great. And the iutside of my car us super shiny. But over all I would like my kids to be able to ride in my car and not be driving to work in plastic wrap.... read more

Took my new car there in November and did exceptional job. Went back today and was very disappointed. $55 car wash and wax with interior clean. Wash was ok, wax was some sort of rag wiping and interior left a lot to be desired. Won't go back as I have a car wash company that comes to me for $25. They don't wax but do an outstanding job inside and out. Sorry guys but you lost me as a costumer today! read more

Saw 4 cars get worked on before mine. Also stopped working on the car before mine so that they could work on other cars. Decided to not get the wax done due to this major inconvenience. Very dissapointed in the service, needs improvement asap. read more

Paid $150 for detailing my Nissan Altima. Windows had black gunk along tops that they stuck and had to be forced open. Didn't even clean between seats and console. Console was filthy as well as missed many spots on outside. Windshield was smeared. Paid $150 for nothing but a quick wash job. Won't be back! read more

I fully understand that it takes a little while to detail a car but I had to wait over 1 1/2 hours to get this done. No special services like deep cleaning of any sort. Vacuum, wipe things down, glass and dry exterior is it. There wasn't any sort of line either. One car under each of 4 awnings including mine. The job was relatively well done but a sense of urgency would help. Unless it's busy this job should only take 45 minutes. Can't imagine how long it would take if they were remotely busy. read more

Absolutely the worst ever. I went through the tunnel at 12:19 and did not get under the canopy for detailing until 20 minutes later. Complained to the clerk who took my payment and he went and reviewed the security camera and told me I was wrong. Argued with me and then proceeded to be insulted when I disagreed with him. It is $35 I will never get back, but I assure you will never go there again. In response to rude clerk.....my receipt to go through the tunnel indicates a time of 12:19, once I parked and came inside to pay, my receipt indicates payment made at 12:39, by my calculations that is 20 minutes and when I questioned you on how long it takes to go through the tunnel you said 3 minutes. That means I sat in my car waiting for direction from your staff for 17 minutes. I waited behind a Chevrolet Suburban and was not in view of the "camera" so that argument is invalid. You lied to me and I became angry because you kept trying to justify what I believe is simply bad service and I called you out on it. The lady that was sitting on the couch told me she had been there since 9:00 am and was continually told another 30 minutes.....so apparently this is a pattern for this establishment. The guys in the line put another car before me that came in 10 minutes after me. The car was not finished, it was $35 dollars of my hard earned money wasted and I will NEVER go there again. I do not think I am above anyone, but I was in line and I paid for a prompt professional car cleaning, which I did not receive. What I expected was a professional response to my concerns, not inaccurate justification that I was wrong. You would be served well by the old adage that "the customer is ALWAYS right"!!! read more

I was late (5:30 PM) getting to this car wash, and they were so nice and did the Ultimate Clean for me for my "really dirty" Honda Odyssey. They did a great job and were very quick and efficient. When I got home, I had left my tote bag in the waiting room! I sent an email to them, they saved my bag and brought it to my car when I arrived the next morning to get my bag! Worst customer service ever. I just signed up for the monthly Express Ultimate car wash. The first go around I was given the wrong wash. The second time was correct. The third time which was yesterday it was the wrong wash again. So I came back around and told the guy that was working the car wash that he gave me the wrong wash. He apologized and I drove back through with the correct wash. How do the workers know what you are signed up for when you don't have a system in place that let's them know??? After I ran through the second time I proceeded to go back to work and went inside. When it was time to leave work I noticed that the cover of my satellite antenna was broken off so I decided to go back to the car wash because how else would it have broken off. It is screwed on from the inside. When I got there I went inside and explained my situation. I told the guy behind the counter that my car is brand new and that there is no way that this should have happened. He had the nerve to ask me if my car was brand new to me or actually brand new. What does that have to do with anything. Then he tried to tell me that there was no way that it happened there because they don't have any overhead brushes. Bull crap. there are brushes that come over the windshield and drag over the top of the car and then end up at the rear of the car. He told me to go out and tell the guy that was working the car wash what happened and to walk through the wash to see if it was out there. And guess what. It was right by the area that have the brushes that go over the top of the car. The worker picked it up and apologized. When I went back in and showed him that it was found in the car wash he tried to tell me that there was something wrong with the cap and not the car wash and to go back to the dealership and tell them it fell off while driving. This person has got to be joking, right? Also when it ripped off the cover it bounced off of the top of my trunk and left a dent. I have pictures to prove it. All in all this place is horrible. I need to find out what can be done to have this resolved. If I have to get a attorney involved then so be it. read more

This owner is unbelievable, literally. My first complaint was to him personally on March 27 when his sensors malfunctioned and my car nearly crashed into the empty vehicle (The former, RESPONSIBLE owner always had an employee drive empty cars through as a precaution. He was smart enough to know that machines can fail.) in front. The complaint turned into much more which prompted the Yelp review and his subsequent harassment of me. The day I complained it took 15 minutes for him to respond to his cashier's pages. He introduced himself as the new owner and claimed that he had just spent over $200K on that tunnel equipment. Although he may not have yelled at me, he was beligerent, condescending, chauvinistic, sarcastic and downright rude to me. He literally kept repeating (to a customer!) "You are wrong!". He refused to acknowledge that sometimes mechanical equipment fails. The video he keeps referring to, and claiming I wouldn't watch, was taken in the dark tunnel and you couldn't tell anything from it. Which I explained to him then as I TRIED to watch it. Did I yell at him? You're darn right I did! I will not tolerate that attitude from anyone especially someone taking my money. As for all the employees that he claimed tried to placate me? That is a total fabrication by him. The only "employee" other than him that I talked to did nothing for me. He was just a flunky with no authority. That is why I calmly and quietly asked the cashier to page the owner for me. The owner has zero public relations ability or skill. His attitude is what angered me, and rightly so! My next move if he keeps up the harassment will be to drive around with a sign in my car's rear window advising others to steer clear of this car wash. The icing on the cake was the terrible job they did of cleaning my car! read more

I had my vehicle washed and cleaned yesterday. I was so disappointed in the quality of the work. First of all, I waited for 45 minutes on a day they were not busy. There were other employees standing around while one person worked on my car very slowly instead of the other team members pitching in to help. When I was told my vehicle was ready, I went and inspected it. There were purple spots all over the car from the car wash. They let the car dry without drying it themselves (that's how much time was taken to detail the car). So I basically took the rag away from the guy doing the detail and did it myself. The chrome was not clean, the interior was over saturated with whatever they use to clean the dash, etc. This is my second and final trip to this car wash. The first trip was not good. I believe in second chances, but this trip was a worse experience than the first. I hope this place makes it as the manager is extremely nice and I believe to be a good person - they just need to get motivated people and build a good team environment.
