They're so slow. I waited over an hour for fried rice and crab Rangoon. I even came in ten minutes later than the eta given to me and still had to sit and wait for another 15-20 minutes. There's a sense of urgency, I can tell, but there is no system they have organized to make the flow smooth and efficient. read more

We didn't get our drinks until after we were done eating. One of the drinks ordered was completely wrong, but nobody came to check on us for it to be corrected. The food was bland, and we didn't feel comfortable using the condiments on the table because they were VERY dirty. We ordered a to-go order for someone who couldn't go with us when we were eating, and we ended up waiting for an hour for this. (By that time, the leftovers we had been planning on taking were cold and likely sitting out too long, so we threw them out to be safe.) When we finally got fed up and went to ask what was taking so long, we were told the food had been done and sitting there. We don't have any idea how long it had been sitting there, so hopefully, they didn't get sick. Absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Even though all the food doesn't come out on time, something they definitely need to improve on, I have to give this place 5 stars. You could easily tell that the egg rolls were made in house. The pho was classic, comforting, and delicious. Very affordable too!!! The servers were attentive and apologetic. The Thai curry was full of flavor. If you have the time to spare, give this place a try, you will really find nothing else like this place for a long distance. This used to be our go to place till they moved locations. Now portions are much smaller, crab ragoons and eggs rolls no longer taste the same, pho tastes old and is sometimes served mildly warm as if it was microwaved. One thing they're consistent on is their shitty, and i mean shitty service. Can't say I recall a time where they've asked us how our meal was or if we need any refills. I've had to literally get up from our table to go ask for a refill and 8 our of 10 times they forget something. Hate to say this but this place is absolute shit...however, the lunch buffet is still decent. Just don't go in for dinner unless your into day old food, shit service, and enjoy a challenge trying to get a waitress/waiter to spot you so you can ask for a refill or remind them of something they forgot. I ordered at least six things and had my food packaged and ready to go in less than 20 minutes. So they've either improved or the other reviews have jokes. It was delicious! I have gone to Lakeshore Pho several times since they moved to the new location. I hadn't ever been to the previous location so I can't compare anything to then. I enjoy Lakeshore Pho, I have eaten there with my cousins there were 8 of us, and we just walked in unannounced. They were busy but they were able to accomodate out group, and food came out fairly quickly, but not all at once. Some people had to wait an extra 5 mins to get what they ordered.ut all the food tasted great and the offered large servings. I ate 3 helpings of the curry I had ordered. The basic curry dish was so large I had to get another side order of rice. I was stuffed and still ended up taking a whole serving home also.Which tasted great hours later. I have since been back to try their noon bufffet. I really enjoy their noon buffet. They have one beef and veggie dish that is super good in the buffet, but I don't know what it's called. I like their curry, aswell. Actually I haven't found anything in the buffet I'm not a fan of. A couple of weeks ago I went to the buffet and they had some electrical issues with the heating element on the buffet unit. So I had to order off the menu. The food came quickly, and was good. I noticed they had cut back on their serving sizes, as I was able to eat what I was served, in one helping as opposed to 3-4 servings from the first time I was there. Which I can't fault them for, it's just good usiness sense. The prices are good, the wait staff are cordial. Especially the older gentleman that works there. He is very attentive, and cheerful. I like taking my family and friends there too! On one inmprompt to occasion, I ran into a cousin of mind there, who was getting take out. I invited her to join me for lunch, and we had a very enjoyable lunch together. I live in Cherokee, it's about a 30 min drive to get to Storm Lake, but I gladly drive it, to eat lunch there. This is a nice casual place to go. There was a good variety of Thai and Chinese food but this was new to me. I played it safe and went with the teriyaki chicken for $6.95 which was a fair price. I really enjoyed the chicken and rice. I thought the vegetables were a little too hard but I was overall pleased. read more

I ate and ordered a few things from here and I'm disappointed most of the time. Since the new location, staff weren't as friendly and some were okay. I believe the owner is nice though. Young staffs didn't greet or smile when I go in and seems like they just want to hurry up and take our order and for us to eat and go. Saw a staff overly friendly with a group that came after us and did not pay attention to our table. They also got their food first and gave my order to them and didn't realize that it was for me for some time. Finally they did and they just handed it to me and did not say a word. Had an order of Pad Thai and the noodles were undercook and still hard in certain parts, fried rice was okay besides the big amount of peas, wonton soup had a doughy taste to it, I didn't like it and didn't finish it and I am a fan of wonton soup other places, and Ladna noodles was way too much sauce like the future and lil uzi vert song. Boba tea is okay, some days the pearls are hard and close to $5 for one. Flavors varies from Honeydew, pineapple, mango, coconut, taro, and thai tea. Personally, sticky rice should come with papaya salad and cucumber salad, that would be a bonus. Pho is the only thing I really order from here since you can add your own condiments; simple and good to warm you up or with a hangover on a Sunday. My wife and I took some great advice and ate here on a snow day from school. Absolutely delicious! I had never had Thai food and ordered Pad Thai with beef, at a heat of 4 on their scale of 1-5. It was wonderful! My better half had Mongolian Beef and it was exceptional as well. We will be returning to try all of the items that have been recommended to us by the people to whom we have been raving about this restaurant. I work in the local high school and actually had a student order an order of chicken wings DURING CLASS! I can't wait to try those, since she risked life and limb by making a phone call in class. We also had the crab Rangoon and the egg rolls, all of which were spectacular. They make their own sweet and sour sauce that is thin, but it's the best I've ever had. I was craving some pho so I decided to check out Lakeshore Pho. I ordered steak and brisket pho and it was average. The prices, however, were super affordable and the staff was very friendly. We got our food soon after ordering. I would definitely come back and eat here again! read more
