They are currently going through another ownership change, but from what the pro shop guys have said, it's all good things coming. The greens have some crabgrass issues, but other than that they are rolling pretty good. The greenside bunkers have gotten much better over the past few months, but the fairway ones still need some work. Since the new ownership change, the tee time pricing is now dynamic. We called to make a reservation instead of booking online, and that was a mistake. Definitely check online for the best price as most of the prices were cheaper than what we ended up paying. Twilight starts at 1pm, and honestly $75 with a cart is a solid deal. 2/3 rounds I played this past weekend were under 4 hours. 4th of July the course was empty and made for a very enjoyable round. The one area the course as a whole can improve on is the food at the clubhouse. Not sure if there's been change, but the food has been real bland the last few times. It's pricey as well, which makes us want to pack a lunch instead of buying it on the course. Lynette the bartender is the best though! Overall, excited to see how the new ownership improves the course over the next few months and beyond and can't wait to be back up to play again. She was truly dedicated to the success of our wedding making sure we were stress-free the entire time. And I must add she is extremely creative! The owners (the Klauses) were also extremely diligent and genuinely cared that we would have the most amazing day. They are the kindest and most gracious people you will ever meet! The location/venue was perfect! I mean the view overlooking the lake was breathtaking! And it wasn't the only spot that was beautiful. Every inch of that property was gorgeous. It felt like I was in some magical land that I couldn't imagine even in my wildest dreams. I mean, our photographer was so inspired she kept finding great places for us to take pictures. Shout out to Renee as one of the Vendors too, she was handsdown one of the best decisions we made regarding the wedding. You will regret not booking her for your wedding/event. This was truly a memorable day and a huge reason for this was the people involved and the location. We didn't have to worry about random people showing up to our intimate wedding like I've seen happen at other venues. It was spacious enough to for a large wedding party without sacrificing comfort, we loved that we felt tucked away into nature while still having "city accommodations". And I must add, the view from the casita is unmatched. Best view on the property. I loved that it served as my bridal suite! I can't say enough about Airola Vineyards. Truly, our wedding was just enchanting. While our guests were originally skeptical about the location (many had to drive 8+ hours) once they arrived they all thanked us for the invitation because it meant they were in such a beautiful location. I'm surprised this place isn't better known and while I want to be selfish and not the let the secret out, I would be doing humanity a disservice if I didn't shout Airola Vineyards' (and it's staff) exceptionalism from the roof tops. I am convinced this is one of the most romantic places on planet Earth.

She deserves a rating on her own as she is customer satisfaction driven. Maybe because I related this to other wedding venues I found this one a 3. First the drive in is a private road very long ways. Thinking of guests possibly driving it at night or having had a cocktail was scary. There isn't a sort of back lot for guests parking but they would offer to arrange shuttle services or golf carts. For a micro wedding this could possibly work. You're more or less using their driveway or pool patio as a reception and have the same options for ceremony. Secondly, the mansion itself is off limits and you're renting their guest casita and studio. They are trying to add another tiny house to offer more sleep options . They do have a stunning view of the lake and if you're okay with staging the photos it might be for you. Their options of reception areas are extremely limited. I think they need to invest and develop areas to accommodate weddings better rather than cramming guests into certain areas. Also factor accessibility for guests with limited mobility if offering rustic options. Even though the package seems extremely reasonable and inclusive, it's very limited on areas, accessibility and bathrooms. Really wanted to love it tho!

It is up in the mountains which is a nice and relaxing drive. While I can't comment on the actual lodge since we did not stay, I can comment on how awesome the skating rink is. The owner has been working the skating rink for 45 years! The skating rink is indoors and massive! The have a small office inside where you sign waivers, pay and get your skates. They offer what I like to call "walkers" for the less experienced skaters for an additional $5. The skating fee is $15 plus $5 for skates per person, but there is no time limit on how long you can stay. There is also an indoor seating area that is warmer where you can people watch, but they also have another big area with tables and chairs. We were very impressed with this place and the staff! We'll be back during New Years and plan to visit again! Dress warm if you visit - it is very cold indoors!

It is a smaller rink, but perfect for beginners, or spending the afternoon with the kids. This was the first time I been on the ice since I was 10 and it is much harder than I remembered. It was my boyfriends first time ice skating and he got the hang of it pretty quickly. The kids enjoyed it - the youngest in our party had just turned 3 and he was killing it - doing better than most of us. The cost is minimal $20/person and that includes skate rentals. You can also rent the skate helpers for the kids or the adults who are learning. I ended up using one for a while as it was much more difficult to glide on the ice than I remembered. The kids had so much fun, even asking when we could come back or if they can take ice skating classes. We plan on returning before they close for the season.

Nothing too fancy and we were lucky there wasn't a lot of people staying or else the noise factor would have been super high. You can hear everything though it's brand new. Parking is mainly in the structure and you would have to walk. I know it said there was self parking for the hotel which I did see some in the immediate front but all taken. Valet is free so we did that. Signage is very poor for the hotel and def no technology yet for them. The little coffee chop for the hotel is in the hold lobby which there are no signs for and site references "lobby" so you will probably end up asking. Service was super friendly and that is a five star. Everyone we'd encountered was very nice, like even the groups keep. We will be back.

There is nothing spectacular about the casino floor as it is just like any other casino. I will say prepare to inhale a bunch of cigarette smoke. It seems like their ventilation system lacks as I felt the smell here is a lot heavier than other casinos. There is a nice pool/lounge area with a full bar and a cool big screen TV at the end of the pool. For the kids, they have a medium size bowling alley and arcade inside the casino/hotel. They recently added a building called Elevate, which is an indoor trampoline building. It is fairly large in size and will accommodate kids of all ages. They run specific numbers in time blocks to keep the occupancy to a minimum which is nice. The building also offers 2 axe throwing stations and 4 golf simulators. There is also a bass pond, basketball court & pickleball court and a pool/hot tub in the RV park, which is located just above the hotel.

Unfortunately housekeeping standards are super low & the property manager, Leah Johnson, is defensive & unhelpful. Upon arrival we emailed her regarding the mess we found including food spilled in the kitchen drawers, dirty cookware, dishes, & utensils, food on the carpet & furniture, stained towels, sheets, & bedspread. There was also animal dropping under the bed in the master bedroom & trash under dressers & on the side of the bunkbed. Property manger sent housekeeping out on day 2 with more stained sheets & towels. Unfortunately I did not think to call VRBO while we were there as I thought local property manager could take care of it. She did not & said replacements were adequate. They were gross! VRBO was not able to help after stay ended even though they asked property manager to at least refund part of the housekeeping fee. No refund was given. VRBO said they would try to contact owner, but I've waited over a month now without response. Hopefully the owner sees this review & finds a new property manger or at least insists on a new housekeeping service.

We are renting a cabin right now. On arrival day, check in is 4pm, we arrived early a bit before 2…read morepm. There was trash all over the front of the cabin in the driveway and a huge pile in the backyard. Also we couldn't open the lock box for the key. The office is open till 2pm. We called and told them about the trash ( which had a lot of yellow jackets and ants attracted) and that we were unable to open the lock box. Turns out they sent us the wrong code via email. Had we arrived after 4pm with their office closing at 2pm..... No access to the cabin. Regarding the trash we were told that the manager would be called and someone would take care of that. Two days later, nothing happened
