My mom often misses meals, the food quality is poor and never hot. Her room and her requests are completely neglected every weekend. I have brought these issues to the Director many times only to hear a laundry list of excuses with no action ever taken to fix anything. It is a cash cow with no intention of giving good care unless you feel like constantly contacting them and complaining. Don't expect anything else from this establishment.

Complain about her behavior, and she was rationalized as demented and if you react to her behavior and demand that she leave you alone and stay away from you, you were branded as delusional. However, one shower nurse was very unkind to my mother! She made my mother's stay there and her recovery absolutely miserable! My mother was also treated very badly by the facility leadership. So I have mixed feelings about Stonhendge. And like I said, some of the nurses and physical therapists were just absolute angels to my mom. But some of the staff, including an extremely mean nurse, ruined the whole experience for my mother there. I don't understand why extremely cruel people like this nurse become CNA's? There's so many other (less stressful) occupations out there where you don't have to take your bad attitude out on vulnerable elderly people! WHY?

The staff was so attentive and treated my parents with so much respect and consideration. I also loved that there was low staff turnover so my parents were able to have the same people caring for them for years. This made a big difference in their day-to-day experience. The facility was lovely and their rooms were always spacious enough to make their own.

She asked my Sister, "Do I really get to live here the rest of my life?" We have found the management very nice and helpful. My mother has made many new friends and enjoys the activities. I have not talked to anyone who does not like living here.
