My Sister was not on hospice and she died and they did not even know it. My daughter found her dead. And then they asked her if we wanted to Resuscitated her she was already gone for a while. It took an hour for them to come when she would push the emergency button. She needed her pain medication and they said that she would have to wait because they were doing shift change. Then 45 minutes later they asked again and they said we have three other people to administer medication too, so she'll have to wait. Called the facility five times to talk to the administrator three times before my sister passed away and two times after and they still have not returned my call. Call the police to get an investigation so we can get an autopsy to find out the reason for her death. She was only in there six days.

Yes they push you, but how else are you going to get back to good health. The food served is great plus they give you alternate choices if you don't care for what they are serving that meal. Who does that? It's like a small restaurant. The rooms are cleaned daily so there are no funny smells. They have single and double rooms. Everyone has their own tv and remote. They have daily activities, church services on Sunday, family home evening, a beauty salon to keep us feeling our best. They can take you to your doctor's appointment too. If I were to go back to rehab from a fall or to get well ............ there's no question in my mind where I would select, Heritage Care Center in American Fork.

I've seen nothing but positive things My father was here a couple years ago after an illness, and had to go through withdrawal from opoid overuse. He was also infectious for the first 10 days and had to be in quarantine. My mother is currently here for rehab after a stroke. Both "visits" were in the 2-3 week range. In my interactions, the staff have been nice, accommodating, and friendly. They have attended promptly when the big red button is pushed. They have administered medication properly. They have done the thankless job of helping when there are problems with incontinence. I'm not seeing problems. I see, likely, underpaid people doing a tough job well.

The CNAs are mostly wonderful, as well as the care coordinator, but they haven't been able to keep a director for more than a few months at a time. They're short staffed with CNAs. The food is terrible- my old coworker sent me a photo of their dinner the other day which was a piece of bread, canned corn, and sweet potatoes (maybe?).
