Save your dogs life and do not use their services!!! We used their boarding facility for 7 days for our dog( a Doberman) named Haus. We paid for a suite and the extra fee for the extra care such as extra walks, run time and overall care. We picked Haus up and was handed his leash and Nathan walked away abruptly. I put Haus in the car and that's when I really looked at him. Haus had golf ball size lumps on the side of his neck (lymph nodes),inside his ears was covered in dried blood and pus, his genitals were swollen along with blood and pus and his balls had a quarter size open sore on them. I immediately called my vet and made an emergency appointment for Haus. I also called All Creatures to find out what happened and explain to me why he wasn't medically treated and why I wasn't contacted immediately! This call took forever because I was put on hold forever and then the conversation was with Nathan the guy in charge of boarding. I now know why he walked away from me so abruptly as Haus drug me out of there! I questioned Nathan about Haus injuries and Nathan said he didn't notice anything was wrong with Haus. OMG there is no way their staff would not have noticed unless they are blind. He argued with me for 20 minutes and insisted they did take care of Haus. I had to hang up to calm down. He was going to ask other staff if they noticed anything. I took pictures of Haus because I had a feeling, they would deny anything was wrong. The next day I call All Creatures to talk to the manager and of course had to leave a message. For the next 5 days I called to talk to her, and she never would return my call. She had Nathan call me back which ended in him yelling at me on the phone denying he did anything wrong. I then in turn called to talk to the Director Dr. Faircloth where again took weeks to get a return call. Meanwhile Haus has had to go through bloodwork, test, office visits, emergency calls and numerous medications. Haus had to have numerous bloodwork done but his bloodwork was coming up major white blood cell count. Haus had made some progress as my Vet treated him for infections along with trying to get him to eat but after 14 days, he took a turn for the worse and passed away. We were devastated. Dr. Faircloth finally returned my call, he would investigate and see what happened. Many weeks and many phone call to him later he called me and said that he was sorry and that someone should have contacted their vet, but they were not responsible for Haus condition. Mind you Haus was in their care for 7 days and you are required to sign their paperwork saying they will seek medical attention if required. I also left 4 names and phone numbers for emergency contact along with our own numbers. We received no phone call nor did anyone else because in their eyes they saw nothing wrong! Dr. Faircloth told me that the Boarding department is only responsible to "feed and water the dogs! " He then continued with saying that I should have taken Haus to them for Vet care the outcome would have been different. All Creatures couldn't take care of Haus for the 7 days he was under their care. All Creatures said they did not see anything wrong with him so why would anyone even consider using their Vets! His statement was lame and ridiculous! Dr. Faircloth the Director at All Creatures Animal Hospital and Boarding facility refused any responsibility in the lack of medical care while in their care at their Boarding facility. Haus deserved better care than what they gave him.

Also read the stipulations on the brochure they gave me today!!! I am livid!!!

Service is hit or miss, seems like you're treated more as a number than a patient. Since COVID things have really changed here.

Dr Fouts is knowledgeable and caring with my pets. I have been through some very rough times with them such as a difficult euthanasia and a pet with a chronic illness and they have made the experience wonderful. The front desk staff are rockstars and know me by name when I come in. They are friendly and engaging. I have interacted with Dr Hopping, although she has not seen my animals, and she seems great as well. The hospital is beautiful and clean. If I need a medication or food they look into ordering it for me. Their prices are reasonable. My pets actually enjoy coming here, as do I. Calls and lab results are returned promptly and appointments are easy to obtain. They do some neat adoption events and open houses through out the year, so keep an eye out for those. I really could go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. If you want the best care for your pet, this is your place!

With her help, I adopted two Shibas from Tri-State Shiba Inu Rescue (she was fostering them at her facility). Pam has been there to assist with questions and guidance along the way. I have used Royal Kennels boarding services, and always found their kennels to be clean and well maintained. Having an owner living onsite makes me feel more comfortable, and I know that any dog in their care is in good hands. I have also recommended their services to a friend with some challenging dogs. Due to Pam's expertise, my friend has been able to travel without worrying about her pups. I have not yet purchased a Shiba Inu puppy, but when I am ready, I won't hesitate to get a Royal Kennels puppy. In the many times I have visited their facilities, their dogs have been well socialized and well cared for. I know a number of people who have gotten a Royal Kennels puppy or adult dog, and they have all been very happy with their new family members.

The peace of mind I have when I leave my dogs with Pam is priceless. In the past, I have left my dogs at other kennels, and the experiences have never been without some issue, sometimes even serious problems. Even if everything seemed fine, the dogs would be afraid to return the next time I tried to leave them. But at Royal Kennels, my dogs are always happy when we get there, so I know it is a vacation for them as well. I have Flatcoated Retrievers, and they can be a lot of work. Pam, Dan and the staff are experienced with all types of dogs. They have seen it all, and nothing can faze them. There are a lot of great things about Royal Kennels, but for me it really comes down to the personal, attentive care that Pam provides. I know that Pam will follow my instructions for any special meals or supplements or medications. I know my dogs will enjoy the freedom to hang out on the inside or the outside area of their run, as they choose. I know that Pam and the Royal Kennels staff will play with my dogs and give them love and attention, without me having to sign up for it as a separate line item on the bill. And unlike what can happen when I leave them at home with a house sitter or family, I do not have to worry that someone will accidentally leave my gate or door open and my dogs will get out! Pam took care of my heartworm positive rescue dog when she was still on crate rest (that dog is now 13 years old and still stays at Royal), and more recently, my 9 yr old cancer patient. Our vet said it would be ok to leave him as long as he enjoyed going there. Pam is one of his favorite people and he always has a good time at Royal Kennels, so we were able to go on a long-planned trip without worrying about how he would do. I have learned over the years that nothing can compare to leaving my dogs at a privately owned kennel where the owners reside on the premises. If there is a concern, I do not want to have to deal with an employee or a manager who has no responsibility or authority and is only doing what they get paid for. I want someone who treats me and my dogs like family (only better, because they won't forget to latch the gate!). And that's why when I go out of town, my dogs go to Royal Kennels.

WARM FUZZIES GONE We have been boarding our dogs with Patty…read moreand Jenny since they opened in 1995. It was a wonderful experience, truly "almost home!" On several occasions when they would not eat, Patty would even call to ask permission to switch their food brand to spark their appetite or to add green beans. Then, when Patty got sick, they hired from outside. After Patty's passing, things seemed to change. My "warm fuzzies" disappeared. Things were "adequate". During our last visit, our dogs were to share an enclosure, as they have some separation anxiety when left. Much to my surprise, when we returned I was informed they were separated for their entire stay. I was told they had to be separated because of fighting. These dogs live together! I expressed my displeasure without raising my voice or using profanity, and was never given an explanation of why I was not called and that was "unacceptable". I was mad! I was then told if I didn't like they way they chose to handle the situation, "not to come back". We now have pet care in our home and know exactly who is caring for our dogs. I suggest you do the same!
