They literally hung up on me when I called to see why they canceled my appointment over a voicemail, that I made 2 weeks out, the day before I was scheduled. They said it was their error for overbooking and with an annoyed tone said do you want to re-schedule or not. I was not satisfied because I am very busy and I waited 2 weeks for an appointment that worked with my busy schedule while stopping lifting to rest my shoulder that I have concerns with. They waited to the last moment to even alert me they would not honor my appointment commitment.

The recording sez "You're number one in the que," (yeah right) then why do I get to listen to their broken MOH for a half hour. If I were "number two," I'd prolly get faster service by writing a letter. All they say when I ask, is we're very busy." I was injured several years ago and my insurance situation is a little weird between workers comp and my regular insurance. The clinic doesn't take Fed WC which is fine. So I double checked with my insurance, Fed WC, and a Fed WC lawyer, all of which said that if the clinic did not take WC all they needed to do was call a number to my regular insurance and get preapproval from them. It was that simple. Instead, they flat out refused and said I needed to close my WC case if I wanted to go there. Which, if you know anything about WC is extremely difficult and also, a bit dangerous in case my insurance decides all of a sudden it's a preexisting condition and they're not going to cover it all after the fact. Then I'm screwed. I would not recommend this office. They are not friendly. They are not helpful. And clearly they know very little about people with chronic pain and depression even though that's one of the things they're claiming to treat. Would not recommend.

Kelly had me complete my intake paperwork, which was typically cumbersome, but seemed easy this time. The office is calm, open and clean. Dr. Waked greeted shortly after I completed my intake. We reviewed my physical history and current conditions. Dr. Waked was attentive and asked questions to get to the root of my pain and concerns. I must say, this was the first time a chiropractor has considered my overall health before actually treating me. She was direct with her diagnosis and gave me an adjustment that would not compromise my current condition. Then I met with Karmen. She had me practice some stretching that I can do on my own. I was given 10 minutes of cervical traction followed by 10 minutes of electrical stimulation for my neck and shoulders. Before leave, I made sure to make my follow up appointments. Overall, I am pleased and confident I finally found a doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. Thank you

This first appointment was basically a "meet & greet" or "evaluate" appointment. I was sent here by my spinal surgeon. The hope is to alleviate my symptoms to avoid cervical spine surgery. I spoke with a Nurse first and then a PA or resident. Then, I met Dr Hayek. The whole appointment was weird. As I seem to have multiple issues within my cervical spine, no sure thing was concluded. We decided on a diagnostic nerve block approach for the worst and most troubling concern. I will undergo that procedure next week. At my next visit, I will update my review to include both visits.
