Rocky Mountain Biking - New Yeti with the water bottle provided by RMB

This service is amazing ! RMB confirmed the easy online booking, called to make arrangements,…read moreexchanged text messages to recommend a trail, met me at trailhead, brought and adjusted the perfect bike that just happened to be a new yeti, provided water and a snack and provided trail riding tips. This is really the only way to go if you travel to Colorado to mountain bike. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We had a fantastic time working with Jessica and Chris. Leading up to our rental day, communication…read morewas great and Jessica was incredibly helpful matching our abilities and biking background with Denver local trails. The day of the ride, Jessica and Chris were waiting for us in the Staunton State Park Visitor's Center, and we spent 30ish minutes making sure our two bikes were properly fitted to each of us. Their process was very thorough- taking our weight into account to adjust the front and rear suspension, watching us pedal around the parking lot, and even installing SPD pedals for me. They also equipped us with a spare tube for my tire, mini bike pump, a bottle of water, and a snack. Before we left, we shared our trail plan for the day, and Jessica's incredible depth of knowledge gave us the insider tips and let us know what to expect and special spots we should stop at that we hadn't known about. Chris stayed with us for a little bit at the beginning of the trail, offering us tips to adjust our breathing for the elevation (we're coming from Michigan) and what to expect on the trail. At the end of the day, we'd considered the whole experience to be wholly worthwhile. The only drawback is that since we had less time than we'd have liked to adapt to Denver elevation, this seemed like the first time we'd seriously considered ebikes. I hope it's something they're able to offer in the future. Otherwise, please check out this business if you're looking for an MTB rental company. We look forward to seeing them again the next time we're in Denver.

Savery Farm Mushroom Pond - Remnant of Savery Farm

It's always nice to find a hidden/unknown place that nobody has ever given it a review. I was…read morerunning a few errands in Westminster today (Sunday, May 22, 2022) and accidentally drove by it on the way to get home. I HAD to make a stop and investigate it as the Savery Savory Mushroom Water Tower, the only intact remnant of the original collection of structures didn't escape my eye/attention (how could it escape it?; it's a very tall water tower!) This was the site by a guy named Charles William Savery from Pennsylvania, who bought a 80-acre farm in what is now Westminster in 1918. Long story short, the mushroom farm which Charles built is no longer there but having one of the remnant structures, the city of Westminster built a pond in 1995. The pond, which was originally built to hold storm water, is now a habitat for many species of insects, plants, birds, fish, I mean you name it, right? The pond itself is not massive but is a good size. Once at the trailhead, you can have an extensive walk/running/bike ride as the trails are extensive (to all sorts of directions). Several parks (Foxshire Park, Valley View Park, Meadowlark Park) and Legacy Ridge Golf Course are what surround this pond. Niver Canal that runs through the area is so picturesque and you can walk/jog/run/bike along the canal if you choose. The homeowners have access to the trail(s) right from their backyard gates. Some neighbors were having an afternoon cocktail in their backyard; some were chitchatting over their property fence. It is such a beautiful area with lots of green. And the city of Westminster and the residents do well by maintaining this whole area impeccably clean and immaculate. It sure was a nice discovery!

Such a cute park to explore, there's the main pond & through the trees there's a baby pond just…read moreright next to it. I came during winter time time but I feel like during spring/summer time this park gets very green! Also there's lots of ducks
