The park is quiet, beautiful, and very family-oriented; perfect for a relaxing getaway. The yurt itself was cozy with a bathroom, shower, towels, super clean and there was a dining table for four, microwave, dishes, bowls, silverware and a full sized refrigerator freezer. Coffee cups, Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee and teas. I'd never stayed in a yurt before but I really liked it. The king sized bed was comfortable, the setting was unique, making the experience both fun and comfortable. What really stood out was the lodge with heated indoor pool, a pool table with party room. The location is ideal how convenient the location is: just a quick hop to I-5, and close to gas stations and convenience stores for anything you might need as well as a very high end grocery store where you can get food to grill on the huge gas grill in YurtvlrIt's the best mix of peaceful retreat and easy access. Being in finance for 20 years though I tend to take things people say negatively about a companies when dealing with financial situations with a grain of salt. To clarify though a point. $40 for both a credit check and background is nothing. Being in finance I know the cost of these reports and this park, at best, pockets $10 per check. Considering the man hours I know that goes into this, $10 is worth it - think $20/hr would be 30 min of work and it's about that. I've been here now several weeks and plan to stay a while. I'm so happy to have found this RV park!!

Our sight was a bit narrow, but there was a row of trees on each side of our site, so we had privacy. The park is kept clean. They had an issue with Canadian geese (way too many!) that would wander through the sites, settle, and make themselves quite at home. But I noticed staff driving through with a water truck cleaning up after the geese. A long-term resident told me that they were working with the state wildlife officials to relocate the geese. I loved the walking trail that surrounds the park. Very pleasant, with just enough challenge to make it fun. Also loved that the park is quiet, not much road noise at all. Would definitely stay here again. But note, this park is often full, so make reservations way in advance of your stay.

Featuring 25 full hookup sites, each professionally landscaped and with its own picnic table, the sites here are large, level, and you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbors. Most of the sites were back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites too. The on-site bathroom is not only one of the nicest campground restrooms I've ever visited, it's one the nicest restrooms I've ever visited in general. There's also a small coin-op laundry area, utility sink, and even a water bottle filling area inside. The park was clean and quiet during our two night visit. It's also just a few minutes walk (or a level bike ride) to several restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be adding this to our regular weekend getaway rotation! I definitely recommend getting a reservation, as the park appeared completely full this weekend.
